I have been calling in 105.1 trying to win tix. I vowed to never go to another show at the Staples (saw the opening deal with Springsteen, it was awaful), but if I can get a halfway decent seat, I would love to go. as of now I have not won tix. would love to see this show.

Garth B was on the radio this morn, all of the $$ is going to the fire relief. a good cause....

check out craigslist.com. there seems to be a lot of people with tix in the 300
section, selling for $50 or less.

If I wasn't having surgery on Friday, I would consider putting off my ban of entering the state of Californhell just to see that show. Id probably opt for the last show, only due to the fact that it would give him more time to do a longer show.

I recommend going no matter what tickets cost. A $1000 dollar ticket to Garth is well worth the money.

Don't worry BJ... you take care of yourself after that surgery.
Cali won't miss ya for a second!!!

As for the shows, I was watching an interview last night, and Garth hopes
he won't have completely lost his voice by his last show on Sat

I saw him here in SD back in '97, and I'm good with that for now.
There aren't many WORSE concert venues than the Staples up in LA :-?

Besides the shows he did in KC, this may be your last chance to see Garth live in person.

If any of you are in the LA area, and have never had the chance to see Garth---- Run, knock over an old lady, steal from a baby.... Just do what you have to do to see this show.

This is coming from someone who has been to probably over 200 concerts in his life time. Over 25 of those being Jimmy.... It will be the best show you ever see in your life.

No performer on the face of the earth is worth paying $1,000 to see, especially Garth Brooks.

I missed a chance to go see him in KC at the show they actually showed across to a couple hundred theaters. Figured since someone screwed me over, id just pay the 10 bucks to see it in a show with a pint of rum. Well If I knew then what I knew now, I woulda broke it off long before that, and paid the money for the tickets I could of had ( first 5 rows).

TV event is only an hour long.

They lied when they put it in the theaters saying it would be a 3+ hour show. They only showed the first 90 mins, and missed what they also billed as quite a few songs with Trisha Yearwood too.

I'm sure you all know this, but it looks like one of the shows if being televised live or semi-live on national television. I've got it DVR'd.
