Maybe he's lurking, will read this and feel the need to grace us with a home state concert.

While Bernd would like to, zeroduval has said he would rather crash a scooter in KW than do another concert in AL

There is a fun rumor in TTown that JB will play in BDS the Friday night before the UA Spring A-Day game. A-Day is scheduled for April 12. We'll see.

I was born and raised in Alabama, although I haven't been back there in twenty years (except for the occasional Auburn game).

I saw Buffett at Oak Mountain Ampitheater a couple of times.

We're going to be at Stars Fell on Alabama in March. Be great if he showed up at Lulu's.

Yeah, I am. I post over there under the same user name. I actually heard the rumor a month or so ago when they were trying to sort out the logistics for the Olympic Triathalon Trials. According to someone in the Tuscaloosa triathalon club, the dates involving A-Day were set in stone because of JB.

Also, if you recall Coach Saban's most recent press conference, he alluded to another event dictating when the spring game would be, and that spring practice would actually continue after A-Day.

Who knows, its probably just rumor. If there is indeed a concert, it will probably be a washed-up performer from the county fair circuit. But my fingers are crossed.

Glad to help...

TTown = Tuscaloosa, Alabama
BDS = Bryant Denny Stadium, on the campus of the Univ of Alabama
UA = Univ of Alabama, or "Bama" for the enlightened
A-Day = Marks the end of spring football practice, last year's scrimmage drew 92K to BDS

We are always looking for the next tailgate down here!

I'll be sure to post something if I hear anymore. JB playing before 92,000 in Bryant-Denny would be amazing.

Of course, its just internet rumor at this point.
