I think I have to go. That weekend is the weekend before I enter my last semester of college, and New Orleans is my favorite place in the world. I have been itching for both Jimmy and NOLA lately. Now just to figure this out on a poor college students budget. This might be exactly what student loans are for.

Working on the hubby....
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

Dang, air fare is astronomical, and I always said I wouldn't drive one minute over 15 hours!

Mapquest, home to New Orleans...
Total Est. Time: 15 hours, 1 minute
Total Est. Distance: 973.23 miles

I could check out Memphis along the way, though!

Yikes though... I need to find a way to acquire more phun money... maybe I'll start selling my stuff.

I'm looking at over $400 from Milw or Chicago (I'm in the middle of them)

I live in the general area so i'll definately be there... and yea the food is definately worth the cost of the trip, but the crowd at jazz fest is utterly annoying.... and if you think they just hiked up the flights hah... hotels jump almost $150 as well....

Hope to see ya there =)

You could drive up and stay with us on Thursday night and then fly out of National of Friday morning. It's cheaper. 8)

$313 with US Airways

Not a thing! Talked with Bob this morning when I heard the news. We'll talk about it more tonight. But I would like to leave on the 8:30 flight from DCA and return on Monday morning.
The hotel BG talked about looks great but waaaaay expensive. I'll do some investigating. :pirate:
