Unfair advantage to boring college sport

Post by Big Jimmy »

No offense to anyone who watches college hoops, or regular hoops... But this is why I can't really consider this a real sport--- do to this unfair advantage...

This guy is 7'7''

I saw him up close this year, he played here against South Carolina! We couldnt get the ball inside at all against him. The only negative about him is that he gets winded very easy. Has trouble getting up and down the floor!

Maybe I'm missing something but isn't there a 3 second rule?

isn't he the UNC-Asheville guy? he may be 7'7...but he isn't that great actually...UNC handled him....he may be punishing against his conference and these smaller teams but if he is really that great.....why isn't he playing somewhere bigger? jmo.....

We had a kid last year at our high school that was about 7' something....he plays for Kentucky now. He was huge....big too. Kinda of clumsy....IMO. But how can you turn away that much potential and height?

I'm sure they'll go as far as their height and talent can take them and God bless 'em.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

College sports are the best reality shows on television. This hoss was part of a perfect example when Hansbrough decided he was going to nut up and dunk on the behemoth and did. I've gotten more excitement watching college basketball than any show or movie ever shown on the tube.

It only starts once the ball is inbounded and resets once a shot is taken (or hits the rim, not 100% sure). Meaning he could stand there and keep shooting it off the front of the rim and rebounding it all day without a shot clock violation or 3 second rule.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar
