Like imagine how many airline tickets to the Caribbean and first class hotel accomadations there those schlubs could buy for me with that kind of money.
Maybe a concert ticket or two as well.

I am going business minded this election . . . not legal minded. I think for four years a guy who can help the United States economy and make the dollar stronger in the world wide market is crucial. I think Mitt Romney can do this. Four years of focus on the bottom line.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

And if it yields negative results, they become one-term presidents.drunkpirate66 wrote:I am going business minded this election . . . not legal minded. Nothing wrong with that. Like I said, four years of don't spend more than you got for the purpose of a stronger dollar, to me, is the most pertinent issue this country needs to focus on.Wino you know wrote:And if it yields negative results, they become one-term presidents.drunkpirate66 wrote:I am going business minded this election . . . not legal minded. Spending has to go down. WAY down. That's a no-brainer, but, for all the good stories those people talk, when it comes to "walking the walk," as soon as they (BOTH parties) set foot inside the beltway, for some reason, it's as if they've been given a Carte Blanche credit card. Throw money at any problem, and it will go away seems to be their mentality. (Same with the schlubs that vote for them).drunkpirate66 wrote:Nothing wrong with that. That would make sense when people think RATIONALLY, but when it comes to the Clintons, they could be AXE MURDERERS and they'd still have their usual band of a$$ suc.kers & kool aid drinkers. Not sure that the Democratic Party will endorse a Senator who voted for the war in Iraq.
Get used to it-she's GOING to be our next president thanks to the femi-nazis and the wimps who have their testicles in her lock box. (Or the lock box of some femi-nazi somewhere).

I like Obama and the thought he is "green" in the grand scheme of things. His ideas seem fresh but I don't think he'll make it through the bitter end.
The CLintons are bad and getting worse as this race gets tighter.
I can't not vote . . . what does that prove? I will be watching my first Republican debate this week.
The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.

I try not to figure out why people vote the way they do . . . and usually I just keep to myself regarding most things political . . . but I really can't figure out on even the smalled level why anyone would vote for Hillary Clinton. And if people are voting for her just because she is a woman then that is the most idiotic thing about this entire race. I really don't like Obama or Edwards either . . . but Hillary is just not worth discussion. McCain and Romney are the only two I would consider.Wino you know wrote:Amen to you to.mjeischen wrote:Amen Brother Wino . . .

Anyone else hear about this one?
Bill Clinton May Get Payout of $20 Million
By JOHN R. EMSHWILLER
January 22, 2008; Page A1
Former President Clinton stands to reap around $20 million -- and will sever a politically sensitive partnership tie to Dubai -- by ending his high-profile business relationship with the investment firm of billionaire friend Ron Burkle.
Mr. Clinton is negotiating to end his relationship with Mr. Burkle's Yucaipa Cos. as part of a broader effort to protect the presidential campaign of his wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton, from potential conflicts of interest. Details of Mr. Clinton's involvement in Yucaipa and his efforts to unwind it come from documents and interviews with people familiar with the matter.

Gotta love the "Liberal Media"

What was Obama's connection to an indicted Chicago landlord?
What Was Said: While she was busy fighting Reagan's ideas and policies, Clinton told Obama, "you were practicing law and representing your contributor, Rezko, in his slum landlord business in inner-city Chicago."
The Truth: The Chicago law firm that Obama worked for as a low-level associate worked on a community housing project that was indirectly connected to Chicago landlord Tony Rezko.
Obama later became acquainted with Rezko, who became a campaign contributor to several Chicago politicians, including Obama.
In 2005, Obama and his wife also bought a 10-foot-wide strip of land from Rezko's wife; the land was adjacent to the Obama family's Chicago home. Some Illinois politicians criticized this land deal as an apparent conflict of interest. Rezko was widely reported to be under grand jury investigation at the time of the transactions, although Obama said this week that he had had no indication of any problems.
Obama told NPR in 2006 that he should have paid more attention to how that real estate deal looked, but that nothing was done illegally.
Rezko was indicted for trying to shake down investment firms seeking to do business with two Illinois state boards. Obama has given to charity more than $77,000 in past and present contributions that were linked to Rezko. Those contributions were to his House and Senate campaigns and his political action committee. None of the money was for his current presidential bid.
Dear Hillary,
We are VERY interested in learning more about YOUR career at The Rose Law Firm. You opened up Pandora's Box and NOW it's time to find out what's inside

There is far too much of it in American Politics . . . didn't agree with the Bush's business relations with prominent people in the middle east either . . . the problem is you can't really regulate it. UNLESS we actually went back to these people being public servants and not power happy money grubbers . ..Tequila Revenge wrote:Anyone else hear about this one?
