Just trying to see how fast I can get a thread locked. Anybody know what the current record is?

I have no personal experience with this, but from what I've seen, in order to achieve a state of thread lockage as quickly as possible, you would proceed as follows:krusin1 wrote:Just trying to see how fast I can get a thread locked. Anybody know what the current record is?

Trust me I have had a thread deleted that I started off with justflyboy55 wrote:I have no personal experience with this, but from what I've seen, in order to achieve a state of thread lockage as quickly as possible, you would proceed as follows:krusin1 wrote:Just trying to see how fast I can get a thread locked. Pick a thread or start a thread (politics, sports, religion, beer - the topic really doesn't matter all that much) in which you can bait or goad some other BNer into trading escalating personal insults with you.
If you escalate rapidly enough, keeping in mind that it ALWAYS takes 'two to tango', you will achieve thread lockage very quickly. Of course, this may also get you 'whacked' by local law enforcement (ie Mods) in which case we will remember you fondly, but never speak your name again.
I would like to add at this point that I find the local law enforcement here at BN to be friendly, firm and more than fair (and I hope I don't get 'whacked'!)
