I know .... I have been asked what coast Sydney is on

but the funniest is - numerous times I have been asked (this has nothing to do with Geography) - "what time of year do you celebrate christmas"

And I got asked it again on my last trip
Yes, but do your toilets flush clockwise or counter clockwise?

our government schools teach you what they want you to know, basically that big government is a good thing and that the government will take care of you by stealing from the working class and rich to take care of the lame non-working and illegal immigrants.
When they run you out of town make it look like you are leading the parade.

It sometimes seems that the sum total of geographical knowledge most people in this country possess, was picked up on a quick trip through Disney World's It's a Small World ride.

I hate that song!

It does become a small world, literally, even when parents SHUT OFF their own kids minds
when they're riding in their own cars. It's no surprise they couldn't navigate their way across town! :-?

It's a sad truth that built-in DVD players and video games are a welcome alternative than taking on the "burden" of challenging kids and pointing out WHERE you're actually going.

A co-worker's 21-year old daughter, who works part-time with us, and was born and raised here in SD, could not get across town to a supplier without COMPLETE CELL PHONE directions given the WHOLE DAMN WAY because she "gets confused by all those stupid maps"!! :o :-?

note: she is blonde and is really very attractive
$#@&...only Vegas again?? Padres ...gotta start believin'!Bring on '14 Spring Training!
