Tweeter Center At the Waterfront - Camden, NJ -RENAMED !!!

Post by Mick The Pirate »

Yyaaarrgh :pirate:

Well it looks like someone at Live Nation has taken the liberty to rename the Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ !!!

The new name is: SUSQUEHANNA BANK CENTER.

http://www.philly.com/philly/business/2 ... named.html

So, as JB dates start to leak out don't be surprised when you see this new name.

Check it out at www.ticketmaster.com

Same address, 1 Harbour Blvd, Camden, NJ.

More info coming!

And now scheduled to play there are:

3/14/08 - Taste Of Chaos Tour

6/14/08 - Tim McGraw & Friends

7/25/08 - Warped Tour 2008

8/15/08 - Rockstar Energy Mayhem Tour

8/16/08 - Toby Keith & Montgomery Gentry

8/30/08 - Brad Paisley

9/12/08 - Rascal Flatts

9/20/08 - Martina McBride

Thought I'd let all me phriends know about the change! :pirate:

What is this the 5th name change?

On that note I just spoke with contacts at both Live Nation and the Phillies front office.

Looks like JB will play the renamed Tweeter Center/Susquehanna Bank Center on either:

8/12/08 - Tuesday

8/14/08 - Thursday

OR

8/23/08 - Saturday

so as to keep an August "country/CMA" themed month.

THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL !!!

My contact at the Phillies and Citizens Bank Park told me that as of now he has no JB date for CBP !!!

I WILL HAVE OFFICIAL JB DATES IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS !!!:pirate:

Well then that would mean by the end of the week now wouldn't it!? Thats good. So what do we know about Chicago!?
The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.

It was announced last year that Tweeter would be dropping their naming rights at either all or just about all of the venues they were invloved with.

See http://www.buffettnews.com/forum/viewto ... ht=tweeter from May 2007

I like those August dates, and it would be a great graduation gift to myself if I'm able to finish school this summer.

The UNOFFICIAL JB AUGUST DATES ARE JUST THAT !!!

100% UNOFFICIAL !!!!

For all I know JB will play Philly/Camden in June or July.

JB might not play Philly/Camden at all this year.....

I doubt it, but it is possible.

When dates are OFFICIAL then we can all breathe a sigh of relief and start planning!!!

Well, in keeping that he may do Camden, Nissan and AC around the same time.....

at Nissan:
Sun 7/13 - Brad Paisley
Sat 7/26 - Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift
Sat 8/9 - Toby Keith

Bottom line? We'll know when we know.... :-?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

That weather was the worst. My daughters inflatible pool was never the same. I'm hoping for august this year June is the end of our fiscal year and I can't take off. The earliest I can get to the show is 5...not the same without the 10 hours before the show.

We're already planning a July 4th long weekend for a family wedding, so I'm hoping for July 1st or the 8th. What do you think; any chance?

Although more water than alcohol was consumed that day it was still alot of fun, you just needed to know where to cool off.

There were definately more cases of water consumed than beer and rum at our camp also. We had a small pool filled with ice cubes and a few fans that helped us "beat the heat." We were also one of the the lucky few that were on grass not asphalt. As Mick has said, we just need to sit back and wait for the official dates to be posted. I hope its not too long.

If that is the case for me this year, I think I'll drive up...but I do hate missing a day of vacation with the family.
