We're taking the keet to Vanderbilt University this weekend. She has meetings, a campus tour and visiting the swim team from 10 - 3 on Saturday.
We know to visit the Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame. Heard reference to the bar Legends Corner. What else is a don't miss? Want to go to a club on Friday and Saturday night. Suggestions?

I'll be at the Divinity School Friday morning
2nd Ave. is pretty cool with lots of bars and clubs, the Bluebird Cafe is a great place for live music, the bars on Broadway are pretty cool too. There is a couple of places just off campus that are good for dinner. The San Antonio Taco Company and Mellow Mushroom are good. I hope she enjoys her visit. Vandy is a great school with a beautiful campus.

For the non country music lover, what would be of interest to see in Nashville?

Margaritaville, although this one has a definite country feel to it. (I think it blends *really* well into the Nashville scene).
There's plenty of Civil War history to explore.
I'm sure there's lots more but my visits have focused on music and Civil War history.

Yeah, I love everything about downtown Nashville..Broadway, Printers Ally, 2nd Ave. It's pretty safe, too (there are cops on bikes all over).
