Mmmmmm....Tacos.....
Well I can go any style.... I like 'em hard or soft, fried of baked however my/our favorites are sort of a cross between the two...
First get some good cut stew meat that is cubed and slowwwwww cook it in some onions and salsa until it will just fall apart....
Next take a flour tortilla and heat it in a pan, sprinkle a bunch of cheese onto it, put some of the stew beef on it and fold in half. Cook (grill really ..no oil) until cheese is melted and tortilla is starting to brown. Serve with choppedd onions, lettuce, fresh salsa......Mmmmmm :D :D :D :D :D

Soft but could use it slightly grilled.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Ummm where do you get cold food with tacos? All of my tacos have hot food in them with hot tortillas. Veggies don't count either as they are just condiments to the main food of the taco. ;)

love soft tortillas. Especially all those yummy kinds they now have with flavors... I use the tomato flarored ones or the peppep flavored ones when I make tacos at home.

The best burritos I've ever had have been at a place in the tiny town of Beaverton. The BT or Beaverton Tarvern. Yum Yum! However, you will be eating them for days...the small comes on a platter. The large is served on a turkey platter sized plate :o

I've been inspired...the ground beef is defrosting for dinner tonight.

I prefer soft and the wife likes hard (go figure) so I buy the Old El Paso combo kit that has six of each.

I am in no way health conscious, but I prefer the OEP lower sodium taco seasoning for some reason. Just a little lettuce, cheese and spicy taco sauce and I'm good to go.

We buy Ortega hard-shell tacos and tostadas or Mission brand soft corn tortillas. They are all GF.

I also make home-made corn tortillas with Masa flour and the tortilla press I got for my birthday. YUMM. :D

Love fish tacos!!

Normally, we make them like the Taco Bell kind . . . soft flour tortilla, refried beans, hard taco shell full of yummies! P.S. Does not taste like Taco Hell.

Takes about two and you are FULL :D

While I love crunchy shells, I usually buy "soft" when I go out. It's mainly because the shells are usually so brittle they just break apart.

The only crispy corn taco shells I ever eat with beef tacos are from ONE place I loved called Ventura's Tamales. Good and yummy, greasy, especially with their picante sauce.

I prefer the deep fried flour tortilla fried like a bowl for taco salads.

I also like flour tortillas grilled and folded over semi hard for fish tacos.

I love my chicken taco shells like Mal makes hers with masa harina and then fried as you fold them over to get them semi crispy...these may be called Chalupas or Gorditas?? They are really different from corn taco shells tho.

I do prefer the thin fried corn tortillas flat with refried beans on a tostada.

Our official tacos and corn tortillas for the night. :D

What makes things easy is to put some of the ingredients into containers (which aren't all that attractive ;) ) that can be popped right into the fridge when done eating. :D
