What makes things easy is to put some of the ingredients into containers (which aren't all that attractive ;) ) that can be popped right into the fridge when done eating. :D

We do this meal A LOT 'cause it is easy and mainstream to do gluten-free. We always turn leftovers into taco salad the next day and YUMMMMM!

Ummm where do you get cold food with tacos? All of my tacos have hot food in them with hot tortillas. Veggies don't count either as they are just condiments to the main food of the taco. ;)
lettuce, cheese, tomato ... all cold !!

Cheese is ok if it is melted...

hot and cold - gross ....

Precisely. We overmake most of our meals so it can be lunch the next day, too. Much cheaper than going out or buying lunches.

I didn't plan tacos for this week and now I want some!

Dammit. Now I'm gonna have to make fish tacos.

"Regular" tacos (beef) we normally buy the Mission crunchy taco shells, my wife prefers the crunchy, I like them either way. The mission shells are nice and crispy without being too hard.

For fish tacos, we do the fry corn tortillas thing, can't beat it.

I'd rather have corn rather than flour for the soft tacos, but I like me a good flour tortilla too.

Yum.....fish tacos.....perfect for a Friday night during Lent.... :D
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

I think tacos are my favorite food (we have them every Thursday with ground turkey). Grew up on Ortega (hard shells, seasoning, and sauce). There is a place in Port Chester, NY called El Tio with the best tacos I have ever had.
