AHHH YES! There's nothing like a good Nitro blast or 5 first thing in the morning.
So let's see....
Antron moves from PS Bike to T/F and gets the #1 spot
John Force makes it back on the track
Melanie Troxel qualifies #3 in her first weekend in F/C, BUT her hubby TJ doesn't make the show
And a NEW track is being built in Charlotte, NC for a Sept. race date. So for me, Atlanta Dragway in Commerce is a 1 1/2 hour drive, Charlotte is a 2 hour drive, and Bristol is a 2 1/2 hour drive
WOOOOO HOOOOO

Still can't believe Tony Pedregon's explosion.
Congrats to Schumacher, Hight, Anderson on their wins
and it was good to see the Force team back in great form!

Just found a pic
Tony Pedregon blowing up his car.....he had burns on his hands and was shook up, but he is back at the track cheering for his brother in the finals.

just goes to show how much John cares about his fellow drivers in that as soon as he got out of his car (which he put in the sand after almost forgetting to pull the 'chutes) after the run with Tony that he went over to check on him and see how bad the burns were.

I am sure V. Gaines had a huge cigar going in Victory Lane
And Jack Beckman, what a story there as a cancer survivor.
What more can ya say about Larry Dixon?
15 days until I leave for Gainesville!
