Winter is over and it is now drag racing season

Just watched the qualifying for the WinterNationals in Pomona....can't wait for the finals tomorrow.
New cars, new sponsors, new drivers....life is good

Got my TV fix and will get my Nitro fix for real in a month at the Gatornationals in Gainesville, FL. Can't wait.

And a NEW track is being built in Charlotte, NC for a Sept. race date. So for me, Atlanta Dragway in Commerce is a 1 1/2 hour drive, Charlotte is a 2 hour drive, and Bristol is a 2 1/2 hour drive

Tony Pedregon blowing up his car.....he had burns on his hands and was shook up, but he is back at the track cheering for his brother in the finals.

just goes to show how much John cares about his fellow drivers in that as soon as he got out of his car (which he put in the sand after almost forgetting to pull the 'chutes) after the run with Tony that he went over to check on him and see how bad the burns were.
