Looks like the forecast is for isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon, and scattered thunderstorms at night.

What's worse, isolated or scattered? And would YOU rather be isolated of scattered? ;)

They have changed the forecast EVERY day for the past 10 days that I've been checking on the 10 day forecast on weather.com

I figure if we're wet, we're wet! lol!! NO matter in this heat.

Hi

Got to cover for an employee at work today so not sure if we will be at the party at the HIE tonight or not. Just wanted to let everyone know. I'm hoping we'll make it.

In case it does rain tonight what is the rain plan for the HIE party. Does the hotel have facilities for taking the event inside? Just wondering.

Lot Times

Post by crs186 »

Once again this year The Beaver County Times Paper has a notice in today's paper that the lots will not open until 4:00 pm this year for the Jimmy Buffett Concert. The only thing that they added this year that I've not seen in the past is that cars will not be allowed to pull off the side of route 18 and block traffic, State Police Officers will be in the Area giving out tickets to anyone stopped along the side of the road. I guess there is always a chance that one of these years they will actaully inforce the 4:00pm time instead of letting people in once traffice starts to back up onto the highway. We are leaving the Giant Eagle in Robinson @ 11:00am and hopefully will get into the lots shortly after we arrive at Starlake. Safe travels and see you all there.

If they enforce it, this is stupid. With traffic backed up, what do they expect us to do?

Also anyone coming from that area @ 11:00am the would like to caravan in let me know ASAP and we'll try to make it work. We are meeting at the Giant Eagle on 60 we have 4-5 cars right now. The more people you get together in one row the more fun it will be.

Every year they say that no one will be let in before 4 and every year it is always around 12 or 1. They will run out of citations if they try that.

Well I'm going to give it a try getting there early this time. Seems we're always still sitting in traffic until 4:00. Hope to see you all there!
