depends on where you stay. ive seen some for over $800 a night.

The ones on Moorea aren't as bad as you might think. Bora Bora is the highest I believe. I looked last year just to do it for one or two nights.

I figure this would be a once in a lifetime experience if it happens - worth paying for after the fact if I have to! But I have to say, every time I think about buying something right now I think "Those shoes or Tahiti - that dinner out , or Tahiti?"

But those two Island are not considered Tahiti. So is this concert going to be in Tahiti or one of the other Islands of French Polynesia?

I don't know but I was planning on staying before and after the concert anyway so it wouldn't matter.

Yes, WHEN (not IF), I got out there, there is no way I am flying all the way out there and NOT seeing at least tahiti, bora bora, and moorea.

YOU can keep screwing with us if you want to, but I'M taking immediate action.
Since I have lots of vacation time saved up, I sheduled myself to be off work the ENTIRE month of November (except for the week before Thanksgiving when I'll have to be in Nashville for my job).

I KNOW you'll be in Hawaii in November because that's when your restaurant opens, and, obviously, it makes economical sense to do Tahiti close to the Hawaii date.
SO, my friend, have a nice summer, and I'll see you in November in Hawaii and Tahiti.
I'll buy your first beer at each place.

Seriously Jimmy's "people". I don't know if any of you read this thing or not but if you do PLEASE try to give us some lead time for this. A fair number of us are planning this as a once in a lifetime experience and we can't just drop our lives and jobs in a heartbeat to take off. It takes planning, vacation time, house sitters, pet care, child care etc.

I'm begging you here - give us a date as soon as you have one!!!
