I'm afraid to ask how much those bungalows costs, but dang that picture is sweeeeettttt!!
ohhh but they are worth every penny! Stayed at the Bora Bora Nui and you can lift up the top of the coffee table and it goes straight down to the water so you can feed the fish without getting off the sofa :P

just for some info.....

look at these places for packages

www.islandsinthesun.com

www.pleasantholidays.com

www.tahitivacations.com

we booked with Islands in the Sun when we went.... went to 4 islands, Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, Bora Bora. Moorea was the fav.
and if you stay on Moorea, it's only about a 1/2 hour ferry ride to Tahiti. If that. or 5 min on a puddle jumper.
Dang I'm looking at some of the prices for a week in Tahiti, and its freaking expensive. I'm not sure if I can do both Hawaii and Tahiti.

Jimmy please give us a %$*^&%%&ing date so I have enough time to figure out if I can make it to Tahiti.

I hit that realization last week. We gave up, booked an awesome vacation in St. Kitts and Nevis for about half what a decent vacation in Tahiti would have cost and are throwing in the towel.

The more I think about it the more I think I'd want to do Tahiti/Moorea/Etc sometime to do it for that area, rather than being distracted by Buffett events and related crowds/increased costs. (I say, trying to forget how cool Anguilla was and trying to forget that everything worked out perfectly for that). Not saying it won't get announced and we won't decide to do it anyway, but it's off the radar for now, and that's only if things fall perfectly into place.

Anyone else hear the reference of Tahiti from the concert last night? It must not be dead in the water after all. The problem is he doesn't leave much time to grab the best airfare etc.
I sure wish we wouldn't have missed Anguilla. I think the cost would have been a little more in our price range.

Ah, to able to afford that vacation. When it's January in Chicago and I am shoveling snow when it's 10 degrees out. I'll have this mental image of sitting on that deck with my wife smiling....

I heard Easter Island was mentioned as a possible sight for shows also...

Didn't hear it! Although it's later now and we've all heard the "I guess we'll be back there in November" thing.

We need someone to start doing the leg work on cheap lodging so when its announced everyone will already know if they can do it or not. I'm all for a vacation home rental as long as we are saving money in doing it.

I am still thinking about the possibities of making it to this show if it ever were to happen. It's just warm and wonderful thinking about it.

I like the image of Jimmy playing in front of the statues at Easter Island also.

I am a bigger fan of the image of Jimmy playing in my back yard in front of the freshly-scrubbed Rubbermaid Trashmaster 5000s.

Well, after last night's "We''ll be going there NEXT YEAR" I'm with Larry. I'm going to stop thinking about this and make other plans. When he finally announces it I'll deal with it then. I imagine it's been more complicated to put together than they thought. It's funny he seems to know some of us are waiting to hear based on what he said, I guess his "people" do pay attention. :-?
