I know its been on the rumored list for quite some time, but im wondering if anyone knows or thinks about what time of year this will be? Spring or early summer or late fall and winter?

The man said as he was getting on the plane to Hong Kong that they were working on Australia. He didn't mention Tahiti but did infer it wouldn't just be Australia. Here is the thread link:

At one of the Madison Square Garden shows last year he said there was a rumor he was going to play Tahiti and he was there to confirm the rumor. But he said "play Tahiti in 1908" instead of 2008.

From what I have heard is they are having trouble with some of the logistics/technology, but are hoping for late this year/early next year, like the holidays Jen mentioned.

Any Update out there??????

I've been watching this one myself, and wondering if there's any more rumors. It used to be posted in the rumor section, but disappeared a month or so ago.
That would be a party!

BTW Dutch Harbor....moved here from Fairbanks....been there a few times for Halibut!

Since Club Trini is booked for MOTM that takes out the first weekend in Nov and probably the first week, with travel time. At least an even bet that there could be a Hawaii show either on the way out or on the way back.

I don't know about the rest of you but I did a quick check on airfare from Houston to Tahiti for mid November would cost me $4500+ RT. I think I'll be skipping Tahiti and settling on Hawaii if he gives a date soon. I'm getting anxious about booking airfare for my other trips I have planned.

The cost of fuel is only driving up airfare and will continue to do so.

I can get to LA cheaply and Quantas is $1316 R/T from there.

Thursday night I dida travelocity check and the airfares from Houston to Tahiti was showing $4500 but going to airline websites the price was closer to $1500.
