I was thinking of visiting PC Beach this June. What can you tell me about things to do and places to see. I need some good seafood resturant recommendations as well. It will be a trip for a family of 3. Thanks!!! :D

Well lets see, we love Shell Island. You need to go to St. Andrews State Park to get there. The fee is $5. Then take the shuttle to Shell Island. There is nothing there but white beach and clear water. If you have kids they would like Gulf World. Of course there's Pier Park which just opened up. Need I say "Margaritaville"?
Some fun places to eat are Shuckums (dollar bills all over the walls), Schooners (beachfront),for a great breakfast (not for those watching their weight) is Mike's Diner. Most of the time we just go to Buddy's Seafood Market, pick up something fresh and cook it ourselves. There are many nice seafood places but we have 2 teen anchors with us so we opt to cook our own. Besides they hate seafood.
We are going June 7th-14th and staying at Emerald Isle Resort. We haven't been to PCB in years. I must say Margaritaville was one of the reasons and we love the beaches there.
It's changed lots since we've been there.
Here's a link to order their guide. http://www.thebeachloversbeach.com/
Seaside is a really neat community to visit also. Hope this helps.

Don't forget to stop by Margaritaville at PCB.

They will be in full swing by then. The soft opening will be in about 2 weeks.

The chef that has been there 30+ years, Alonzo Key, lives across the street from me....I love cookouts at his house!

I still love Bayou Joe's for breakfast and they have the best dang Grouper Sandwich ever!

Sharky's is a good place to eat. We also always liked Schooner's and Shuckum's too.

Question: Is Buddy's Seafood Market close to Margaritaville?

When I'm there on vacation next month (Destin - Miramar Beach), we're definitely going to visit PCB for Margaritaville.

Bringing back fresh seafood to our beach house after a visit to M'Ville sounds PERFECT!

That's something I couldn't normally do up in the mountains here of Colorado.

Buddy's is on hwy 79. Can't miss it. Here's the address. It's also been suggested to get seafood right off the dock at Capt. Anderson's Waterfront Market.
