Snorkel with the manatees.

Crystal River, maybe an hour drive away. We've been with American Pro Dive Center a couple of times (although not for a long time) and had a blast!!!!!

Thanks everyone for all the great tips here! We are headed to the Magic Kingdom in two weeks as well as Sea World and Cocoa Beach...my 'keets first trip to Florida and the ocean (they are 7 and 10) we are driving and bringing our bikes with us too. If anyone has any info about any of the above, or any bike trails near Port Canaveral or good restaurants please share with me. Your help is greatly appreciated. :D Fins up!!

Two more tips for your DisneyOrlando trip.

#1 Bongo's Cuban Cafe at Downtown Disney's Westside. My wife and I love to sit and relax at the "Mojito" bar outside. They have a small Cuban band most nights, so it is a great place to relax with a Cigar and a few Mojitos. Plus you can't beat the people watching.

#2 Cigarz at Universal City Walk. Just a cool little Cigar Bar hidden above the theaters at Citywalk. Very Dark Cool Place with Tabacco leaves hanging from the ceiling, and 32oz beers.

Have fun.

We then head to Bob Marley's place for Red Stripes too.

I will be headed to Walt Disney World in 217 days! Yes, got that countdown going already and planning is in high gear. I'm too excited to sleep! (as the commercial goes)

Was planning to go to Jellyrolls as we've never been on our previous trips; good to hear positive things about it.

Anyone ever been to Jiko-The Cooking Place? Or Le Cellier?

It was great to see this thread this morning!

We have been to both and love both! Jiko has such interesting food, it's a beautiful room, and such an extensive list of South African wines. Le Cellier was very good too--excellent steak, Canadian wines, fantastic service, but a VERY hard rez to secure.

My girlfriend ad her kids (13yr old girl who is also a Buffett fan & 14 yr old boy) and I went to Disney World last fall. I had not been there since 1980!!! I was like a little kid all week. I'm so p*** that it took me 27yrs to go back. Trust me it won't be that long till my next trip! It brought us togther and we all had the time of our life.

We have a time share in New Smyrna and we hit Universal last Easter. I'm more of a Disney kid but we loved both. One thing Universal has is Margaritaville Orlando (Blackend Mahi-Mahi w/Jamican Butter). We had dinner there twice and lunch on the deck.

That's what I've heard--I'm glad that we are staying 10 days--more flexibility with ADRs. April 18 is our 180 day mark and calling Disney at 7 a.m. to make the ADRs.

I've heard that the United Kingdom has stopped selling 1/2 yards of beer--do you or anyone know if that is true?

I'm so excited at 217 days---I would be so much more so at 38 days! :) That is so close for you.

I read about the 1/2 yards on the DIS discussion board, but not sure of its validity.

My sister and fam are going in the Spring, and she was all pumped up about Aquatica. It seems that the "thing to do" is rent a cabana for the day... for the price of the cabana, you get 4 admissions (you can also purchase more admissions), and it ends up being as cheap or cheaper than if you just paid admission.... she loves bargains-- I think that's mainly why she was excited!

Couldn't find any info on the 1/2 yards. I always enjoy when Karl (the bartender at the Rose & Crown in UK) pours me a nice half-pint of Boddingtons. If you have a drink in the bar to stay, you actually get a glass instead of a plastic cup.
Have a Moosehead and popcorn and sit by the waterfall in Canada! Also be sure to have a beer or a 'rita out by the Hemisphere Dancer at the Lone Palm Airport in front of M'ville. Another great margarita spot: The Dawa Bar in the Animal Kingdom. Say HI to Brian!
Can't wait to go!! 30 something more days!
