Better than staying at the Hampton on PCH across from the I Hop, second floor = full ocean view, and eating sushi at that cool spot about a mile down toward the pier?
I live on PCH, prepare my own sushi, and I have clean sheets!

Before UCONN went 1-A the Yale vs. UCONN game was held every year at the Yale Bowl in New Haven. No one ever went in to the game but the tailgate was legendary.

I was a catcher when I played Little League baseball and made the All-Star team one year, even though I'm lefthanded and lefties aren't supposed to catch.

I played softball in the south Bronx for 3 years. Instead of grass or dirt fields, we played on concrete.

The first game I played, I told my teammates "if there's a close play on the bases, I'm out. No way I'm sliding."

I saw Grease at the theater twice and dozens of times since then, it's the only musical I have ever seen. Nope, never seen The Sound of Music.

I'd never read a book in my adult life until becoming a parrothead.
It was Where Is Joe Merchant.
