I graduated in '79 and our official class motto was, Watch Us Shine in '79, but we changed it to, "WASTING TIME IN '79". Please don't bring back those powdered blue or pale green tuxedos with the ruffled shirts sometimes worn with a matching top hat.....argh!

Sometimes those shirt had bright flower patterns, and they looked so right with a tight pair of angel flights and maybe a gold chain.

We still think of all you girls the way you were.

Well, some of us football player types couldn't fit into those damn Angel Flights even in high school. That was the first introduction of, "European Cut," pants... translated means little guys that did not lift weights, had not thighs or butts

My Prom, in my Junior year, was at 1:00 in the afternoon.
Charleston was under Curfew, for riots at MUSC, one block behind where I lived. (It was still the Medical College of South Carolina then..and where I eventually graduated from...)
I woke up one morning and there was a tank outside my window, on Rutledge Avenue.

I've been to Septima Clark's house several times. ( when I was a teenager...)

Second year in College I was invited to study at Oxford's Cambridge Campus in England. :( no did not go

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
