I was a Wrestling cheerleader in high school.

I left Romeoville high school (in Illinois) with 6 months left in the year and moved to Colorado, graduated from Columbine high school.

I read a prayer at the Baccalaureate at Columbine.

I was in the NHS at Romeoville.

I'm the youngest of 5 kids, grew up in a 900 sq. foot house.

Well, some of us football player types couldn't fit into those damn Angel Flights even in high school. That was the first introduction of, "European Cut," pants... translated means little guys that did not lift weights, had not thighs or butts

While on a class trip to NYC during my senior year of high school, I was propositioned on 42nd Street. By a man.


That right there was an eye-opening experience for a naive 17 year-old from Harrisburg, PA!

My Prom, in my Junior year, was at 1:00 in the afternoon.
Charleston was under Curfew, for riots at MUSC, one block behind where I lived. (It was still the Medical College of South Carolina then..and where I eventually graduated from...)
I woke up one morning and there was a tank outside my window, on Rutledge Avenue.



I've been to Septima Clark's house several times. ( when I was a teenager...)

As a girl scout in the early 80's, I learned how to pick the locks to the aparment building up the street so I could sell cookies. Was the second highest seller that year!

Dreadfully I went to an all girls Catholic High School

Second year in College I was invited to study at Oxford's Cambridge Campus in England. no did not go

I helped crew a 44' sailboat from Bermuda to Long Island. We hit a Force 9 gale in the Gulf Stream, complete with 20-30 foot seas, and were blown 300 miles toward England.
