My story? Okay. It was never easy for me. I was born a poor black child. I remember the days, sittin' on the porch with my family, singin' and dancin' down in Mississippi...alas those days are gone.

I don't *miss* disco.....but love to listen to a few of the classic disco tunes once in awhile....
"classic" and "disco" should never be used in the same sentence :o

In junior high I wore a bright blue nehru jacket. I also wore black and
white checkered bellbottoms and had a pair of pink bellbottoms.
WTF was I thinking? But at least I don't walk around with my pants
pulled down past my thighs with my underwear pulled up. :pirate:

How about polo shirt with oxford over it with wool sweater over that with blazer over that... cordurory burmuda shorts, argyle socks and penny loafers or duck shoes and of course, carrying one of those purses with wooden handles and fabric covers that you can change according to the colors of your outfit! Our parents didn't have to worry about us fooling around - it took too long to take everything off!

I did have a gold chain, I probably still have it somewhere at home. It had a replica NY license plate with "13" on it because I was number 13 on every softball team I ever played on.

I never owned a Corvette. I have a weiner so I don't need an expensive sports car to compensate for any shortcomings. 8)

Me and a bunch of parrotheads went to Orlando a few years back to be in a Margaritaville commercial that as far as I know never aired. But hey we did get $50 and free watered down margaritas.

I can roll my belly.

I passed out in the theater during the wrist slicing scene of the movie Stigmata.

I had two moles removed from my face last month.
Got sick of my son scratching the one on the middle of my forehead thinking he was gonna win a free Big Mac
And yes I almost passed out during that procedure, meanwhile I can get tattoos with no problem :-?

I can't remember ever going to the dentist as a child and I've only been to the dentist once in my adult life a few years back for a bleaching. The dentist was suprised I did not have the cavity creeps.

I got pulled over in the hood two times back in the day.
I hand to stand in front of my vehicle with my hands on my head while the police searched my vehicle. They said whites don't come over here unless it's to buy drugs. I guess it did not occur that maybe I had black friends. But hey....on the plus side it gave me street cred with the homeboys.

I stood on ground zero in Nagasaki, Japan.
I made a stop in Hiroshima, Japan on the train, but never went anywhere there.

I've been to the top of Mt. Fuji (Japan's highest peak) twice.

I spent Christmas on Easter Island (1973).
I spent Easter on Christmas Island (1975).

I shook hands with Eugene Cernan-the last man to walk on the moon.

I've p|ssed in all seven seas.

I have been at my current company for 11 years and it is my first job out of college (actually I did roofs for a month after graduation in order to buy two suits before I started here).
