QUESTION ABOUT TICKET SALES

Post by okieparrot »

This will be my 10th time to see Jimmy and I've got a question. Are there ever any presales on tickets. If so where do you get the passwords.
Thhis year I want to get as close as possible, love the lawn but this year I want to try something different.

It depends on the venue. I have never heard of a fan club pre-sale for a Buffett show. But some multi-use venues (ballparks etc) will have a presale for their season ticket holders.

When Jimmy played Citizen's Bank Park in Philly a few years ago there was a presale for Phillies season ticket holder.

if there are any, they will show up around here. so just keep lurking around the boards. there are presales every now and then. they usually cost more for a ticket if you use the presale, at least that is how it was a few years ago when he came to Columbus.

They had one back in 05 for the Target Center show in May. If I remember the password was "Margaritaville" so yes they do have pre sales.

In '05 I happened on pre-sale tickets at The Pond in Anaheim thru the venue...it was my first concert.....great seats, no lines, no crazy frantic time on the computer at the sale moment, seats at a reasonable price, it was great! Back then I didn't know what it was really like...now I just about have a stroke banging on my computer at sale time. Have heard thru friends in a club that sometimes they are informed early...who knows?

Looks like he might be doing ballparks again this year. If so, ballparks have pre-sales to their season ticket holders...so get in the good graces of a season ticket holder if he is playing at a ballpark near you.
