rkoener wrote:Does anyone have a map of the parking areas at Alpine? Or an arial photo. I really liked where we were parked last year and I am not sure I could describe it to the parking people this year. We were on the right side of the "hill" not too far from the fire trucks.

small, but there it is...

Thanks Fins, I saw that one. It is mostly the venue itself and not so much the parking area.

Because of BN we met rkoener and traveled on that big green bus of parrotheads to Alpine. We had a great time and can't wait for another
tailgate and concert this July.
I guess we didn't scare off the bus company from taking us back again this year. No pukers, that's always a good thing. Our navigator and or captain of our charter was a good sport. He must have given us all an A+.
It would be fun to meet some of you. Ryan we should make a banner of some sort so we are recognized by BNer's.

Shirley,
We certainly can make a banner! Last year I tried to use some helium ballons, but they didn't work so well.
By the way we are using a different bus company this year, the one we used last year was booked up already! Did you get my email today with the rest of the details?
I will post the details on here tomorrow, maybe we will pick up a few more BN'ers on our trip.
Hey

We are heading down to Alpine from ND. Never been to Alpine...should be great.
Booked a room in Jaynesville, prolly traveling down with 5 other people.
Now....getting tickets! Are there usually people selling lawn seats at the venue for a reasonable price....just in case???
I'm thinking....lawn. Is the party more fun up there?
Wherever I sit...I'll be looking through blurry eyes anyway. May as well save the cash for drinkin!

Lawn is by far more fun... I have been going since he started comming to Alpine and I got reserved once and never will again...
There are tickets being sold there but to be safe try ebay. Tickets the last few years have been gong less than 20 dollars over face on ebay...

After you sent me pics last year - I'll have to find your wheel this time.

Ryan, ya I got your e-mail. I do have the word out to some phriends if there are seats left. I am trying to hold back the excitement but it is hard. I was trying to remember if my cell phone worked up there.
What bus company did you end up using?

Should have told them you were. LOL I think we are going to try to have a banner or something this year so that everyone will know it is us. I am going to try to park in the same area as last year, it worked out really well. It was the Blue lot right next to the burm.
