I dressed Elena up in a Hawaiian shirt and got in line with her (and my neighbor's 17-year-old daughter and her boyfriend). We won the lottery....we're all set!

Who's not going to Alpine? Right here. Thanks to denied access from ticketmaster after ONE refresh. And all I needed was a single pair to bring my girl to a show :x

Need some help on 2 pavilion seats.

Post by SailCrazy »

<EDIT> Thanks to some great fellow parrott heads here, I was able to check Live Nation later this morning and snagged the 2 pavilion seats that I needed :D Great news! <end edit>

<Cutting to the chase> [I need 2 pavilion for my parents, will pay face + fees, or include lawn seats in a trade. Feel free to read the story of my TM/Evil Scalper disappointment below!

Hello fellow Parrott Heads,

I hope to be there - and hope that my parents can be too.

I showed up WAY early and ended up second in line today - but despite my good spoot unfortunately still ended up behind a big ticket "broker" (scalper). Rather than make a big scene, he said that he'd take a shot at Chicago tickets, then try for my 2 pavilion at Alpine Valley, then go back to his mas-buying stuff.

Well, somehow as this guy was yelling out all sorts of DOS codes in rapid succession to this poor overwhelmed girl behind the counter, my pavilion request didn't happen. :-(

If anyone can help me out with the two pavilion seats I'd really appreciate it. The seats are for my parents, who aren't so comfortable making it through the show on the lawn.

I think a friend of mine who's also going may have a couple extra lawn seats. (We have a decent-sized group who've all gone together for many, many years.) So I can offer up 2, and maybe 4 lawn seats as part of a trade if that's what you'd like.

If you can help us out, please shoot a PM my way. Thanks so much!

Fins up! :)

I spent $650.00 on tickets, $400.00 on hotels, and $280.00 for a plane ticket for my step daughter.
STILL haven't factored in the cost of gas getting from Iowa City to Chicago & Alpine and back.

You can still get 6 consecutive pavilion on Live Nation, if you want to sit in the back.
