Well all in all, great concert. That is I think the best setlist I have been too. I love that he played "The City" and included the old clips of Philly when he did it years ago. I also was very happy with the new verses of Fruitcakes, especially the part about the Phillies being in first place. Does anyone have those lyrics that he used for the first verse of Fruitcakes? I would love to have them documented somewhere. As usual, Jimmy is up to date on current events and relates everything to the city he is in, such a personable touch. I also loved "Cowboy in the Jungle" and I was very happy he didnt cut that one out for the show. Hopefully he keeps up with the great setlist when hes back for AC.
Also, my thoughts on parking: IT SUCKED. I had a great time tailgating, but this was after 45 minutes of persuading, talking to supervisers, managers, security, cops, and being threatened that they will arrest me. I tried for lot M at about 9:15am and was told by the "part-time worker" (as he told me) that I couldnt get in without a pass even with paying more for a spot. I dropped the Buffettnews Caravan line and asked what they are going to do when they pull in and everyone doesnt have a pass, and i was told that they will deal with that when the time comes. We were sent over to Wachovia and pulled in there. The first thing I tried to do was inquire about paying for an extra spot so we can set up a tent. We were bluntly told no. Then they try to direct us into the first 2 spots in the lot that sit right in the middle of the lane and basically stink for a tailgating setup. We asked if we could have two spots that were 25ft. away and were along the edge with the bushes. They kept telling us no. I asked why there was already 3 cars who were parked all the way down the other end along the grass edge with their tents perfectly setup. He told me they got there before the parking people did. So I said "what does that mean? They are exempt from all parking rules? Did you even charge them?" I said fine if we cant park there can we at least park right here along the edge? He said no and called over the director (or something) of the parking lots. He told me I had to park wherever the 6.50 an hour attendent told me to. I told him I understand that we cannot purchase extra spaces and asked him whats the difference between 2 spots right here and 2 spots 25ft away right there. He then got angry at me and told me that there was 3 events. I replied I know but I still dont see your point. He then said they expect more people than an eagles game in the area. Thats when I asked him if hes ever been to an eagles game? I have been to plenty and you can pretty much pick your parking spot AND you can keep empty spots for setting up tents for tailgating, so why are they being so strict today? He called over security and told us we either do what they told us or leave the lot with the help of security "the hard way". We chose to stay and make the best of it. Others did not, there was plenty of people I saw pull in to be told they had to park where they were told and they couldnt put up tents. They quickly turned around and left the lot immediately. The worse part was that they were being such dicks in the morning, and then 2 hours later after we parked, I saw people taking 2-3 EMPTY SPOTS for tailgating with tents and such. Everyone who was down in the G lot early can attest to the mainly rude parking staff (with the exception of the young blonde girl and the other guy with a goatee and a few tattoos) and "director" of parking. Nevertheless, after 45 minutes of dealing with unnecessary crap, we finally started getting setup and once I had my first shot of Tequila and cold Corona, I started to relax.
I do have somebody's number who I will be filing a complaint with. The people around me went over and bitched for a while and got somebodys number who was in charge. If you also experienced trouble/headaches in Wachovia lots, I can PM you the name and number.
Not to rant but it ruined the early part of my morning. I miss Camden.
All in all, great show though.....

The last time I brought someone with me to see Jimmy was my sister a couple of years ago in Raleigh. She turned out to be one of those "who don't get it". So this time, when I brought one of my oldest and dearest friends, I was afraid to overwhelm her with too much pre-concert. We got there around 4:30 and walked around the lots. She kept saying to me, "Why didn't we do this!" "OH! I want a parrot" "Oh! I want a shark!" "Look! They have a swimming pool!" "Let's get a tatoo!" "Didn't you think I'd like this?" "Why didn't we do this?"
She didn't even complain about the rain. We had a great time, and I hope next time I get to see you. Are you going to any other venues this year?

Fruitcakes for Philadelphia and the Jersey Shore:
Fruitcakes in the kitchen
Fruitcakes on the street
Struttin' naked through the cross walk
In the middle of the week
Half baked cookies in the oven
Half baked people on my bus
There's a little bit of fruitcake standing here in front of us
Paradise - Lost and found
Paradise - take a look around
We got Parrotheads in center field
We got LandSharks by the case
We got cheese steaks in our dressing room
We got the Phillies in first place
School is out it's summertime
Hey, who could ask for more
Well maybe after this show is done
We gonna hit that Jersey shore
Fruitcakes off of Surf City
Ventnor and Margate
And then there's always Bay Head
Where I stayed up late one night
Half baked people on the boardwalk
Half baked people on my bus
There's a little bit of fruitcake left in everyone of us
The shuttle landed today
And the toilet's fixed
Now there's fruitcakes on the space station
But that toilet was on the blink
Now, out in space it ain't no place
for p*ssin' in the sink
While out on mars the signals to that lander are not clear
But instead of lookin' for water
I think they should be lookin' for cold beer
Fruitcakes in the galaxy
Fruitcakes here on Earth
Struttin' naked in the front
They've been that way since birth
Half baked cookies in the oven
Half baked people on my bus
There's a little bit of fruitcake left in everyone of us
For all you people who might miss Mass in the morning,
Here's a little religion.
Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa
Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa
Here's the church, there's the steeple
Religion's in the hands of some crazy ass people
Television preachers with bad hair and dimples
The God's honest truth is it ain't that simple
It's the Buddhist in you, it's the pagan in me
It's the Muslim in him, she's Catholic ain't she?
It's that born again look, it's that polygamist crew
Please, Rasta man, I ain't got a clue

Will there be any left after tonight? We'll see. Here we go.
She said you've got to do your fair share
You've got to lend a hand
I bust my ass in spin class all day
While you're playin' Rockband
Still the whirring of the blender
That gives me a little hug
That's the difference between lightening
And a harmless lightening bug
The future - Oh my God!
Eight years past the millennium
That's a science fading fact
Hey, humor fun and laughter
Seem to be in short supply
So I'll just watch the Daly show
And practice what I preach
Stay in touch with my insanity
As I walk along the beach
And listen to Bob Marley
Tomorrow on Father's day
It's a jungle out there kiddies
Have a very fruitful way
Fruitcakes in the kitchen
Fruitcakes on the street
Struttin' naked through the cross walk
In the middle of the week
Half baked cookies in the oven
Half baked people on my bus
