Great to see everyone on Saturday. Sunset Chef, I'm glad I pulled in next to you! Those rum runners and the porkroll sandwiches got the day off to the perfect start!

Thanks to all who organized. As I was walking out of CBP at 11:30 I was thinking it was just 13 short hours ago we were pulling in! :o Great tailgate!

No tix for AC, but I might start looking around!

Thanks to Mary Kay for organizing. Riding in the caravan was a blast.

Black Jack.... my better halfs brother had your ribs and thats all we heard all night from him. Awsome.

To all the Bn'ers that I met it was awsome to put names with faces....The Ottocals, DocandJeanie, TropicAl. and the loads of others that I met thats for being so open and inviting to total strangers.

And finally one rant to the majority of the lame people in section 232 a big finz down. I saw way to many people sitting and was actually told to sit down by someone while dancing to Fruitcakes (yes I dance like Elaine from Seinfeld) becuase we standing and dancing. First time in all the shows Ive been to Ive ever had some say down in front becuase they werent gonna stand during the show. Oh well.

Hope to see you all soon!
backstreets77 we had a similar experience:

Before I hit that margarita I'll vent a little. We had an encounter with a couple that were sitting behind us in 331. We came into our row 1 spot (won't use the word seats because we never sit) within 30 seconds the guy's telling us to sit down. I turn around and he says nothing, we go back to dancing and he yells again. I tell him that we're not gonna sit all night and that we would move away from them into the spot next to ours because no one was there. That didn't help him so he and his girl continued harassing us. I suggested he stand up, or move down into the 4 empty seats right in front of him, that wasn't good enough for them either.

At which point he threatens to throw me over the railing, now those of you who know my stature, that would be no easy task. But it scared Mau, especially when his girl on 2-3 occasions got up to come over and scream in our ears and curse the crap out of us; well at least we got'em up.

We stayed the course and went on enjoying ourselves in spite of their actions, by the way no one else in the section was standing initially let alone dancing and they never complained or joined the a$$holes.

THen 1 by 1, a couple people would get up and move around a bit, by the time CIP came most of the section was up except for our new friends :P

Well I guess they got exhausted from sitting or complaining and after CIP they got up, both of them, finally and LEFT.

So Fins Up to our newly departed section mates and THANK YOU to everyone else in 331 for letting us enjoy ourselves and especially to those of you who got up and joined us.

You can take the kid out of Philly but you can't take the Philly out of the kid :D
Sorry to hear about your experience. In another way im glad I wasnt the only one that had the problem. I thought there was some new trend at Buffett were people sit.

I also met you and your better half she kicked my friends and myselfs behind at beer pong. We were the ones that had the Pong Island setup. I cant believe they threatened to toss ya over. Man oh Man only a Philly crowd.

Well Fins Up and it was nice to me you two at the tailgate.
That's what happens when they invite 50k people. Too many curious Georges. F'em if they can't have a good time.

I grew up in K & A; and I've been threw it all .. his sorry a$$ would of been right with me. BTW Bruce Fan? & which one are you? BTW she never played before (lol) but she does throw a mean dart.

Well I took a nice two hour nap after work which gave me the energy to mow the damn grass. I have been looking at my photos and I'm very pleased with my shots from the show. I have reduced the file size on some photos to post.

First a few shout outs-

Blackjacks - can't say anything that has not been said already. Thank you for everything Saturday and thank you for your welcome in to this group. I may have been a Buffett fan for 30 years but I was new here and you made me feel welcome. (up to the playoffs anyway! )

Seas in my veins - Thanks for you help finding a Parrothead for my extra tickets. And a BIG Thank You fr finding me tickets to AC. That's my backyard and to have a big show come and not be able to get tickets is more frustrating than words can say.

tropic_al - Dawn Patrol (first in/last out!) - Jello shots and breakfast sandwiches. I look forward to more sunrises & more shows. thanks

To everybody else that I met, it was a blast. As I look through these posts and realize that for every person I met there's two I didn"t. I think that we should give some serious thought to a two day tailgate. Like the concert the party was nowhere near long enough!!!

Have any of you ever seen the tribute band Parrot Beach? They are playing a free concert just about a mile from the Great Tiki Bar that is less than a mile from my house on August 6. This is all going to go down in Schwenksville, PA 19473. It looks like it could be a fun time, maybe even a small phlocking before AC?

thank you all for traveling and meeting up with the group was so much fun. Am enjoying all the pics if matt will let me will try to get some of his posted ( I think he thinks I would be shocked at some of his) keep telling him they are not the ones I want to post. He had a great time too and the best part was he did walk back to the car after the show:) even with bad blisters on his feet from all his crusing. The virgin who was with him also enjoyed the tailgating and the show.. he was nota JB fan befor the concert think he may have converted now :)

Parrot Beach is one of the best Buffett tribute bands around. Our club books them every year to play aftr our golf tournament, and its always a good time. I recommend them highly.

Just a comment

I live down in Maryland and my step daughter is getting married in a couple of weeks. The rehearsal dinner is going to be held at Props Restaurant in Pasadena (http://www.propsrestaurant.com/). As a hard-core sailor I had been telling them it needed to be at a place called "Sails" or "Spinnakers" or something like that. When Krystal went big-screen I mentioned to my wife that "those props look like a good place to party." [smilie=blush.gif]

We're going to see Jimmy in A/C on 8/24. My right eye should be open by then. :pirate:

They are also doing a free concert in the park this Thursday (6/19) 7pm in Voorhees NJ.

They are great. We have seen them many time. They used to play every weekend at a great outdoor bar in Wildwood called Sunset Bay.

I've seen them quite a few times in AC. Parrot Beach and JImmy and the Parrots are both good bands. Very personable and put on a nice show.
