Just wanted to let pholks know that have some extra rooms booked for FRI/SAT night that I have not cancelled yet. Not sure if anyone is having problems finding a place but I will hold on to them until the beginning of next week. If you need them, just shoot me a pm, we can change the reservation name and credit card info.
We are getting closer and more excited with each passing day. Can't wait to see everyone there!

Who is missing the contact list? PM me and I'll make sure you get it. Don't forget to give me your email address.
Also I'm trying to get a number of cars we would have for the caravan. If it's more than 8-10 we are going to have a problem meeting at the Quickie Mart. A better place would be the Lowe's parking lot in Gainesville. It's about 1/2 mile from Nissan. Please let me know if you will part of the caravan and how many cars you have in your group.
Is anyone interested in premium parking? It's $20 and you're much closer in with an easier departure. I know......they've made us pay all sorts of fees already. I'm just asking.....my husband can't walk long distances right now......we'll see how this week goes for him.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

Re: tailgate
You need to drink from a cup and be 21. And it would be hard to shut down 10,000 grills.......been to many concerts there and hasn't happened yet.Sanjuro's tequila wrote:Boy, I hope they don't hold to that!gb wrote:Nissan Pavilion website says no drinkin and no grillin.. I was just afraid I'd be hauling my grill all the way up there for nothing.

Daily weather report
Had youngest 'keets 1st bday today, so was busy up until now.
AC
High - 87
Low - 60
morning shower, otherwise times of clouds and suns - day
partly cloudy - evening
WC
High - 81
Low - 62
scatted thunderstorms (40% chance) - day
showers (30%) - evening
Anyone have enough of a meteorological back ground to have any idea how two organizations that are looking at the same data points could possibly be coming up with such disparate results? It is almost like there is barometer soup involved in their decision making.

More Power
I hit on a clearance at Party City today and stocked up on new tailgating stuff. I bypassed a couple of things because of the power issue. I did get a new blow up tiki poll, some blow up parrots, a new tiki bar (or at least it will be with a couple of small modifications), and most importantly a new pirate hat!!!Sanjuro's tequila wrote:Frozen concoction maker on standby!!Carolinadreamin' wrote:OK got the booze.......now we're just trying to figure out the power situation. I have one of those stupid 15 ft flag poles and pirate flag we can put up so others can find us if everyone still wants to combine tailgates...
Hey, anyone have a BuffetNews flag??

I also think we are mixing a 5 gallon concoction of alcohol and fruit
I think someone is supposed to bring food..... ARE WE THERE YET !?!?!?!

OH BOY!! Lets just hope the logistics work and everybody can get together. Anybody wanna try for the "biggest party in the lot" and try getting on the concert video montage?tailgaitingph wrote:Im not too big on straight tequila, but was told shots are awesome off the ice block - if you are interested. I think I can handle hero for a day, someone else's list will up mine soon anyway
