Carolinadreamin' (since she made the recommendation, I can only guess she's in it too!) :D
I think one can assume they mean "meeting at". And if one can assume "docandjeanie" aren't handgliding in, we can certainly add one more vehicle to the list for them!

So we are looking at 7 cars so far...

Is there a special lot for hang gliders or do they put them in the RV lot.

My suggestion would be to meet at the Lowes in Gainesville. Here's the address for those that need to mapquest it or plug it into the ir GPS:

13300 Gateway Center Dr, Gainesville

It's about a mile and 1/2 from Nissan it's just a sraight shot on Wellington Rd.
Sounds like a plan Linda, we should shoot for about 11:30??? at Lowes?
Let's call it noon and hope the scout can let us know the lots are open. I don't want to leave the folks coming in from out of town behind. :D

We will have 2 cars and I don't know how many WAPHC members are joining us. I'm waiting on an email. Our club also has a bus load of people going but I know some are driving in.

Might be worth noting that someone has posted (I think on the other Nissan thread) that the VIP could possibly open at noon. Any way we could get confirmation BEFORE the day of? Id hate to be hanging out at Lowes while the VIP lot fills.

More cars than names... I'm not keeping count, so if your name's on this list, you're representing all the cars in your "petite phlock."
BNers in the caravan so far at this point:

Glad we're meeting in the Lowe's parking lot!

Is everyone in on VIP parking?

Apparently it's first come first serve and only available the day of event. The one question remaining is this: WHEN DOES THE VIP LOT OPEN??

I know the last 4-5 years we have been arriving between noon and 1 to open or just opened lots and have always paid the $20 thinking it was because we got there before the posted 2:30 lot opening. One year we were parked w/ the tires touching the pavement at the end of handicapped parking, very nice...others we were out further in the lots, but it seems like it is where the 16 year old kids want to put you. Last year it was $50 for the RV we took (large sign in p lot also said no trailers). The parking lot direction for the Toby Keith concert was a joke in our gravel area but we didnt arrive till about 4:00.

If this is the case, shouldn't we all plan on meeting at Lowes before noon?? What is everyone's thoughts on this?

Decisions, decisions....I guess the following should be confirmed :D

1. Meeting time at Lowes
2. VIP or Regular Parking

Lets confirm the time than vote. (this is turning out to be a bad Monty Python skit)

first time at Bristow

This will be my first show at Bristow. What are the "unwritten rules"
of this place? Can you bring gas or charcoal grills even though the
venue rules say "No"? What's their booze policy? What's the parking
lot surface like? (Grass?Gravel?Macadam?). Any insight will be
appreciated. :pirate:

1: Currently 12pm, but I am thinking it should be pushed up an hour to 11am.

2: I think its been determined that if you dont do VIP parking, you're stuck waiting till 230 when the regular lot opens.

Surfpirate? You in on this?

I'll be able to keep track until Thursday evening. Sanjuro and I are hitting the road on Friday morning.
I'll be able to arrive early and caravan for Monday's show ..... but Saturday I won't be getting there until about 2pm. What prominent vehicle/banner/canopy should I look for to find you guys?
