Need help picking out song!

Post by sailaway82 »

My fiance and I are both PHs and need help deciding on a song for our wedding next year in Florida (Singer Island). We're having a tropical themed formal beach wedding and we need a song for our first dance as husband and wife. Coast of Carolina has always been our song, but I want something a bit slower, but romantic. I was thinking All the Ways I Want You. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

One suggestion would be, "Stories We Could Tell", or "Come Monday". Friends of ours have Come Monday as "their song" as they broke up and got back together to that song at a concert. I don't think your family would appreciate "Why don't we get Drunk" but the wedding party may! :D

My wife and I danced to Slow Boat to China. Not a Buffett original, but it fit the mood perfectly.

If Coast Of Carolina is too fast for them ... then Stars On The Water won't work at all.

What about Steamer?
Of course, like the two Bruce Cockburn songs mentioned above and Slow Boat To China, it is not technically a Buffett song, but it would work.
