Too bad the Sox aren't in town that weekend otherwise I would have asked if anyone would want to see a game. They do play on the 3rd but it's a 1:35 game.

Have emailed the crew that wants to go...think we may all drive down together in the Winnebago and get a room at the Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn express where we stayed last year for Gillette, so we'll have access to a real bathroom and showers. Of course that is if when we go to book the room they have no issues with us parking the RV outside. Hoping to know who's going by tomorrow and book the rooms.Tropic_Al wrote:Plenty of room for a camper of any size. The only drawback, they park the RV's, buses & campers in the back lot. If you caravan in w/a bunch of cars, they will put you in different areas, away from each other. The solution, pack everybody into the RV.C-Dawg wrote:I'll be there with a crew this year....can't wait!!!!!!!!
We are considering renting a Winnebago for the weekend, how's parking at GW for them?
Actually, there is a Holiday Inn closer to the pavilion in Mansfield. I'm staying there if I go.C-Dawg wrote:Have emailed the crew that wants to go...think we may all drive down together in the Winnebago and get a room at the Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn express where we stayed last year for Gillette, so we'll have access to a real bathroom and showers. I'm thinking of going for both shows, going down alone for Thursday and meeting the crew on Friday when they arrive....if I do, I'll need breakfast...and will take the same as BottleofRumBottleofRum wrote:drunkpirate66 wrote:I will be there for both shows. 8AM start. Breakfast anyone?
Yup, sounds good. 2 eggs over easy with a side of rum...
I have stayed at that Holiday Inn a few times, it is nice and closer and has a tropical feel to it. The roadies used to stay there and may still do.aeroparrot wrote:Actually, there is a Holiday Inn closer to the pavilion in Mansfield. Now that I think about it, forget the eggs, I'll just have the rum.....and maybe a splash of AbsintheC-Dawg wrote:I'm thinking of going for both shows, going down alone for Thursday and meeting the crew on Friday when they arrive....if I do, I'll need breakfast...and will take the same as BottleofRumBottleofRum wrote:drunkpirate66 wrote:I will be there for both shows. 8AM start. you were way too generous with that absinthe one year. I mean, you are ALWAYS generous but one year my head hurt about 4 ounces too much of that poison . . . good god!BottleofRum wrote:Now that I think about it, forget the eggs, I'll just have the rum.....and maybe a splash of AbsintheC-Dawg wrote:I'm thinking of going for both shows, going down alone for Thursday and meeting the crew on Friday when they arrive....if I do, I'll need breakfast...and will take the same as BottleofRumBottleofRum wrote:drunkpirate66 wrote:I will be there for both shows. 8AM start. Wish I knew for a fact that I was coming? I might book a room just in case I make it, and cancel later if need be.BottleofRum wrote:I just booked the Comfort Inn for Saturday night. With AAA only $96.00...
Booked it with two beds. Just in case someone else needs a place to crash.
