Ok I made reservations at the Red Roof Inn in Mansfield in case I make it. Total cost including taxes for three nights $361 Ouch!

Oh well if I definitel make it I hope to find someone to share the costs. If I do this trip it will be part of a larger driving vacation so saving money on hotel costs so I can have more fun money is a priority.

Any suggestions for other areas to check out cheaper hotel rooms? I don't mind driving a little bit. I think I saw hotels in the Brockton area for about $50-60. How far is this from the Tweeter Center, and is it an ok area?

i'm sure the End Zone or the Roadway as it is called now has some Cheap Rooms!!

Yea it's cheap but I wouldn't suggest that.

1) There is a reason why it's cheap and it's not a good one (it was considered to be an equivalent to those hourly hotels).
2) You would need to know the local roads to get to Great Woods or you would need to go out of your way to get to 495.

If you want to go to both shows get your Saturday tickets first. Those will be 5 times harder to get than the thursday show. Both will be sold out before noon . . . and then there will be plenty of others release in the months coming.

Noon... are you kidding?? They'll both be sold out by about 10:20. Then about 10:30 there will be a handful, when credit cards get rejected. Then that's it until they start releasing them a few months later....

Booked the Hampton Inn in Franklin....exit 16 off 495...right off the highway..about 8 miles to Venue...stayed there most years when he's at Greatwoods...129.00/142.00 with taxes a night and they have breakfast.......maybe looking for a roommate or 2 to split expenses...not sure on that yet though...it's 7 months away!!

That's a pretty good place to stay. It's about two or three exits from 140.

That's a pretty good place to stay. It's about two or three exits from 140.

15-14A & B-13( WHICH IS 95)-12/11 which are the Mansfield exits(they split off the exit ramp)!!

I wish I trusted the late releases. Bird in the hand and all that. I always end up buying an extra ticket that's better than my first one. I just can't relax until I KNOW I at least have a ticket.
