As far as I know they both pull from the same inventory. At least in my experience if you go through livenation it brings you to the TM page.

They are the same thing. LiveNation is a concert producer, and sells tickets THROUGH ticketmaster. They are partners.

Live Nation and Ticketmaster are not the same. They are owned by seperate Companies.

For some of you that may not know, Live Nation contract with Ticketmaster ends this year. There is speculation that Live Nation will be selling all of its tickets for all of its venues through Live Nation. Here is the link talking about it

Occationally, Live Nation sells a limited amout of tickets through its own website. Its a hidden secret. Especially when Jimmy comes to Camden NJ. Live Nation sells a ton of lawn seats that seem to be gone on TM in seconds. I remember last year, Live Nation went live with Camden Tickets about 20 minutes after 10:00. There were plenty of lawn seats for a while.

I can tell you that for events where Live Nation handles the ticket transaction in the past, I have completed transactions on Ticketmaster's site before Live Nation even showed the tickets had gone on sale.

I haven't checked Live Nation's site recently, but I believe all transactions bump over to Ticketmaster now. In any case, I'd always go straight to Ticketmaster first.

I guess the whole reason I asked this ? is because I can still get 4 tix for the indy show on LN but can only get single tix on TM.
