Hi, everyone, I will be making the drive down to St, Louis with my wife for the show about 10-hours. Last year we went to the Houston show my first and I am definately hooked on Buffett. We were lucky enough to get a room at Harrah's when it was still only $59 and will be staying W-Th night
It is nice to read the input from everyone to make to reduce mistakes, so far important items I have picked up on, do not walk from Harrah's to the venue and Tailgaiting will be strict.
Looking forward to a great time and

Mama always told me that if I looked at a big yellow star for too long I'd go blind--I'm still trying to figure out if those ones count in her warning.

It seems like last time he played there, they had some kind of shuttle and cabs and people were friendly about sharing car space if it was available, we hopped in the back of some guys pick up truck on the way there. We walked back over the levee and it did s***, it almost put my wife into labor and I lost my buzz from the concert.

I'll be there wed. and thursday night as well, a bunch of people should meet at the Voodoo lounge wednesday at 9:00 or so.

So, VooDoo is having a pre concert fiesta. There's "reasonable" tailgating, still no time on when they will open the gates. And I've heard Dave and Buster's (which isn't too far) is throwing something. Sounds like a f*'n blast. Oh, yes, and Boat Drunks. Hua.

I have to go back to work tomorrow after spending a week in Florida

but then I remembered that three weeks from Wednesday afternoon I will be on my way to St. Louis to see Jimmy

that makes it a little easier to go back!
What is going for Wednesday night at Harrah's before the show? we'll be rolling in to town around midnight or so...may need to have a beverage or two to unwind from the drive
anyone know if the time is firmed up for when the lot will open? I thought I read 3 or 4 PM somewhere....are people going to pre-party and then roll over to the lot to tailgate? We have our festive plastic cups ready to discreetly transfer our drinks into

Ive been to many shows at Riverport(atleast that what they used to call it). They are very strict about tailgating, but they usually make an exception for Buffett. I heard a rumor that Jimmy pays a fee at most of his venues for extra security so that the madness can carry on in the parking lot. Does anyone know if thats true?
