I really wish I knew what "limited tailgating" really meant. I mean, I understand the whole drink thing. Pouring my drink in a plastic cup and keeping the booz hidden is not an issue. But if they actually are opening up at 3:00 that's as good or better than tinley last year and we did some pretty good partying before the concert.

wonder if they'd complain about my generator to fire up the concoction machine?

Hi, STL PH - Do you know how many seats are in a row? We got our club tickets and they are left center section. One of the rows runs from seats #1 to #37. Just wondering if maybe 37 is an aisle seat. We can't find seat #'s on any of the seating charts. Thanks!

Hiya yourself!!!!!

I wish I could tell you more about the rows...... I was looking on the seating chart from LiveNation... looks like your #37 may be on an aisle... if not, it's probably only a seat or two... depending on your row.

I wish I knew also!! I'm thinking they won't let us cook and stuff like at Tinley... but I got a feeling that once we are all there...... there's gonna be some good partying going on!!! :D

I don't think there will be any problems with tailgating. I have been to at least 30+ concerts there in the last 10 years and have never had any problem drinking in the parking lot usually for hours before the start of the concert. As long as they open up the parking lot early we will be fine. Or you could do what we did at tinley last year and block all the streets to get in so they have to open up. Oh well in any case i am counting the days.

hehehe that's why I bought a pack of 200 RED cups after talking to the MHPD!!!
I still wonder how far we can go with this...... some of us haul enough chit that our tailgate looks like a whole neighborhood!! :o

That's funny, I called the number listed and the guy that answered said he had heard of no special allowances for drinking. He said as far as they had been told MHPD would enforce the no drinking policy

I asked about grills, he said no tailgating. Parking is included in the price of the ticket, no extra parking spaces can be purchased.

That makes everything as clear as muddy water.

Thank God I am going to Frisco :pirate:
It's 5 O'clock somewhere and I'm 15 minutes late

My wife called and a lady said that they would open the lot at 3:00 and the venue at 6:00. She said the lot will be full so no extra spots will be available. She stressed to keep it low key due to MHPD and that the PD was doing us a favor. If things get out of hand (whatever that means) that the MHPD would shut it down.
THe lady thought small grills would be OK.

Hopefully we get a more definitive answer sooner than later.

I know it's a bit late, but does anyone have an extra room at Harrah's or have space to let a fellow Parrot Head crash(I'll split $ with you) after the Boat Drunks? My wife (Designated Driver) probably won't stay for the post-party since she has to work in the morning. Thanks for any help.

We'll be at Harrah's and VooDoo Lounge, but it probably won't be 'til close to midnight...I'm sure we'll be ready for a couple drinks (or 5 :wench: ) after a 7 hour ride from Wisconsin. :D
