We did the Friday Presale for the CHicago shows. My wife scored tickets and so did I . . .Row 21. We get the max because we always know people will join us. This year they slapped us with the 6 Tickets per household. Its the 1st time in years this has happened to me. Naturally the pirate bastards swindled my 21st row seats . . . . We did get the other 6 still.
I never got an email. My wife went online to pay off the credit card bill and there was a substantial credit fro Ticketmaster. I looked and my tickets were no longer available to me . . . .
For all of Ticketmasters efforts they still claimed their service fee . . . .
The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.

From http://www.ticketmaster.com/h/purchase.html: Amount of Tickets Per Customer or "Ticket Limits"
When purchasing tickets on Ticketmaster.com, you are limited to a specified number of tickets for each event (also known as a "ticket limit"). This amount is included on the unique event page and is verified with every transaction. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying practices.
You knowingly tried to get around these rules and got caught.

Convenience Charges and Order Processing Fees
Tickets purchased on Ticketmaster.com are typically subject to a per ticket convenience charge and a non-refundable per order processing fee. In many cases, delivery prices will also be owed.
I agree the fees seem high, but it still is an expense for TicketMaster to process your excessive order, catch the violation, and do additional processing to refund the ticket prices and put them back into the system. These fees and rules are posted and someone has to absorb the expense.
I've always maintained that my biggest competition to obtain my (fair) share of these limited number of tickets is not brokers, but other fans who always get the maximum number of tickets and sometimes even more than they are allowed.
In mjeischen's case, it seems from the way his post was worded that the excessive tickets were an "accident." He and his wife both were trying and both got tickets. I've done the same thing before but never actually gotten through. We've always kept one phone line open for status updates and immediately called to tell the other person to cancel when one is successful.
But, in this case, I wonder if a call to TM immediately upon realizing what happened, explaining the situation, and offering to cancel one order would have allowed you the option of keeping the 21st row seats and canceling the other order.
Did they use the same credit card? From what I've come across TM, as easy as it is to hate them, is very clear in their limits and restrictions when it comes to same address/cc. Sucks, but I don't think you can say they didn't warn you.
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.
I'm surprised TM didn't cancel both orders - Please adhere to published ticket limits. Persons who exceed the ticket limit may have any or all of their orders and tickets cancelled without notice by Ticketmaster in its discretion. As far as not getting an email about the cancellation, it does say "without notice."
Well truth be told we get a number of people trying to get tickets because we never know who will get in and who won't. As someone said sometimes only one of our group has gotten tickets and sometimes we all have.
Last year I made those tickets available to BNr's I knew were looking.

Col Angus is an acquired taste. If I wear out my welcome, just tap me on the head.
You've only got two options, havin' fun or freakin' out.
