Welcome Newbies

Just thought I'd post and welcome any new Parrotheads who finally found us here at BN. It wasn't long ago that I was lurking and reading threads before I finally started posting. Just a warning, once you do decide to start posting, you'll probably find yourself coming here more and more. You'll also wish the people you meet here lived closer and you could get together with them more often than once or twice a year at a show. I know I do.
Just a little advice if you're thinking of posting or starting a thread. There are a lot of people here who know more about Jimmy than he probably knows about himself, and they are a wealth of information. Before you start a thread, try looking to see if there is a thread on the subject first. The SEARCH button at the top of the page is your friend. You'll find there are pages and pages of threads on virtually every subject. Reading thru the old posts not only gets you the info you're looking for, but lets you start to get to know the vast cast of characters that call this place home.
I only found this site a year ago, and started posting 6 months ago, but so far I haven't met anyone here that I wouldn't enjoy tailgating at a concert with. Many of them I consider real friends and look forward to meeting them face to face. Some of them you'll find love to "pull your chain" or even be sarcastic, but I really haven't seen any downright hostility to anyone. We're all here for the same reason...we love Jimmy, his music and the lifestyle his music seems to create.
Again welcome, and if you decide to join and start posting, welcome to your next addiction

I can honestly say that I never have thought about pulling the chain of anyone I've met here at BN.

As in any place where humans gather ... there is hostility etc from time to time .... but you just gotta ignore those .....and most of the people here are good people!!!

(well most of those that I have met are .... and some that I have never met as well I guess!!)

As with any place - there are personalities that clash - that is life .. this is not the "perfect" place to visit - but it is one of the best you would ever want to visit!!!

Oh, and Newbies don't EVER forget to type the last "T" in Jimmy's last name, or else you will be roasted to a crisp.
