Are we all giving up on a Raleigh/Durham date?

Raleigh and Durham are both still listed as rumors. Wouldn't it be great if we got two Carolina dates!

I have zero inside information or connections, but I have heard this rumor as well this past week and from several different people. Could be nothing, but... If true, Wallace Wade perhaps?

Unless they announce a Raleigh/Durham date this week, I'm going to get tickets to the Charlotte show. Not going to take the chance of not seeing a show at all this year. If he announces a Raleigh/Durham date after this week, guess I'll just have to go to another show. What a heartbreaker

I'd much prefer to see him in the Raleigh/Durham area rather than driving out to Charlotte middle of the week! Hope this one is true and announced before Charlotte goes on sale!

I sure hope they will make the official announcement before this Saturday although I may try to catch both Carolina shows.

for us, that's one of the few June dates that will work between beach trips

plus it's a weekend night

hopefully this will morph into a "Who's going to Durham?" thread very soon

I'm not usually a "count my chickens before they hatch" type of person, BUT.... it worked for the Charlotte folks. They pretended they had a confirmed date and started planning. And IT WORKED! So keep up the positive attitude Bad Tattoo!

June 7th works for me, and while we're pretending I'm going to assume that I'm sitting in the front row (just to be fair - I borrowed that from the other thread).

I have mixed thoughts on it myself

I'd much rather see Jimmy in an outdoor venue designed accoustically for concerts (i.e., Verizon) than at a football stadium

But if the June 7 date for Durham is confirmed, then we have a Saturday night Vs. a Tuesday night in Charlotte but then we have to wait another 5+ weeks

and I'm not even mentioning the whole dukie issue

honestly, I'm just glad we have at least one date and possible two this year in NC!

Actually, Durham isn't that bad. They've redone the tobacco district where the Bulls play and Ninth street and Brightleaf are pretty cool places.
You just have to know where you're going, and I can help with that.

The Duke thing, well, the parrothead vibe conquers all, right?
