Anyway, for the rest o' us, today be Christmas eve, eve, eve, eve, eve. :D

Congrats, Detroit. 8)

It's starting to feel real now. Today I printed out my tickets. Now I must start gathering my goodies for that day. Planning on leaving here around 2:30 to pick up my partners in crime and then head out to the Knob.

We've had a handful of warm days in Michigan (mostly in April  ), but today was the first summer-like day. Temps in the 80s, a little humid, the breeze feels good instead of cool. I think we're ready for a Buffett show. 8)

Well....the Kid is touring in Europe right now, so unless he blasts across the big water looks like Cheli will have to ride solo. Bob Seger would make a nice substitute though!! (Where's Uncle Ted when you really need him??) :-?

But I'll be verrrry disappointed if JB doesn't don the Red Wing Gear for Boat Drinks!! 8)

Jake sounded great in ATL last night, can't wait to hear him again in the D.

And Fingers will be in town, he played with Jimmy in '06 in Detroit. Hmmm....

Yay! Just a few more days!

I thought I wasn't going to make this show. Got some tickets at face value this week so now the plan is to head up there after work. I'll miss most of the tailgate festivities since the husband can't get the day off work. But we'll be there for the main event and that's what really matters! :D

I talked with Jaeger Dave yesterday...due to scheduling conflicts the Phin-mobile will not be present for the 1st time in about a decade :o :o :o

Just a FYI...the DPHC will be parked in sections C2 & C3. They've already set aside this area for our club. As you pull in it's on the right side...stop bye and say hi. I have a Red F150 Supercrew and will have a green EZ Up. 8) 8) 8)

any guess as to when they will open the gates? I know they usually give the ole "same time as always" speech and we always seem to convince them to change their minds (who says I-75 is supposed to keep moving?????)

Not sure what time we are headed out, depends on when others are going, I guess. I love being a follower.... Oh, we'll be in the RV section I'm guessing.

Last time they opened them around noon. I'm guessing my crew will be at the park n ride somewhere around 10am-ish

wow, I didn't think we were that successful at an early opening last time around. All I know is the weather wasn't too bad until right before concert time. I still have fun, though :)

I'm sure we'll be at the Park and Ride around the same time. Look for a White and Blue Winnebago. That's us.....

Um.. I have a newbie question. If I get to the concert an hour or two before it starts, is there still a place to park in the lot? Or will it be full? Is there somewhere else I should park instead? I've never been to "Pine Knob" so I have no idea where I'm going or what I'm doing.

Thanks!

I've been last-minute to a couple of shows (non-Buffett) and always got in the lot. If you're planning on an hour or two before I can't imagine a problem. I just read on the website that they have over 6,000 spaces. I'm not even sure where you would park other than their lots.

Whenever Finger's plays there are always a nice bunch of setlist surprises...like last year in Bristow when he did Coast of Marseilles and Tin Cup!
