Florida 2008 Tour Dates

in Tampa of 2008? I have reservations for a couple weekends in

preparation for this announcement.

please nnooo not that weekend! With the way FSU football season games are laid out this year, I hope its a late feb date in 2009.

I am a proud FSU alumni.... and a proud Parrot Head. Since I saw my first Buffett show before I was a freshman in college.... AND there are more games that I can get to than Buffett shows AND I have a DVR.... ... its an obvious choice.

Oh and.... if there is a Tampa show... there will be a phlocking!

I'm not calling anybody a liar. There is just conflicting information, but I really really hope your source is more correct then what others on BN said last night? Since there is no Hawaii or Tahiti show this year I want to go to Florida in November. I just hope its no sooner then Thursday of the first week.

I really want a November Florida date. I get back from Costa Rica on Nov 1 and have a doctors appoint on Nov 3. Hopefully no concert before November 5 so I can drive. I guess I could fly depending on the cost. Sure hope I can get a ticket for the show, but might show up anyway and hope for the best.

I have a question though. In last nights set list thread I mentioned I hoped to go to a November Florida show, and several people jumped in and said no Floida in November. Not to mention that it was stated by these peeps with great conviction.

Lotta opinions out there... I'm sure nothing's in stone or it would have been announced.... After MOTM (Peter Mayer and Club Trini) I don't see anything on the schedule, so probably some time after Nov 2. And probably not election week, unless it's late in the week.

I think he should play the UCF stadium in Feb.

Great weather. Great venue. lots of hotels within walking distance.

(parents live 10 minutes away on backroads)

Everyone wins!

I got my fix in NC this year. As bad as I wanna go... clemson, boston college, florida, those are BIG GAMES. I love jimmy and have flown to see him (as many on this site have) but I think Feb is good. Gives the northerners a chance to flock down and get out of the winter blues.
