I did practice this past weekend, both pre alcohol and post. More practice still needed :pirate:

Party Bus Trips going to Nissan for the Labor Day Show?

Post by OBXLFR »

Hey Everyone -- little late joining. We've got tickets to the labor day show, but trying to find a way to get there without driving! Anyone know of any party buses (From Fredericksburg, VA or there abouts) that are going that we could still get on? Never missed a Buffett show in 10 years --- just getting a late start this time!

Hey I'm from near the Fredericksburg area too! Unfortunately, the bus we're taking is pretty full or I'd invite ya. (It's actually a school bus turned RV haha)

Definitely will do! Squeezing 18 people on that bus, plus all the stuff won't be easy!

Alright, I've been saving up my enthusiasm for late in the summer so I didn't tire early. I think it's time I start stopping by this thread with some more frequency now!

I can't believe there have been 19th row tickets on Ticketbastard for so long now and I haven't snatched them up. I wish I had the dispoable income. If this were a couple months ago, I'd buy them. But, I've got 6 lawns and from looking at the ticket exchange and ebay, I'd likely have to eat the tickets I have if I wanted to move up.

So disappointing.

You know, I wonder if that's what the issue is. When we had the first few NC shows early in the season, those threads really took off! We had various lists compiled, daily updates, big tailgate planned, etc. Everyone was super pumped and we had a terrific time with a large group of BN'rs I had never met before.

For some reason I don't get that impression with these two VA shows, at least from the VA threads. Maybe people are just not as into it, maybe they already have their own private parties planned, or maybe I'm just nuts [smilie=asa.gif]. Yeah, nevermind...that's probably it. LMAO. I have extra lawn tickets I'm looking to get rid of at face value if anyone needs any. Just PM me. Thanks!

It looks as though a lot more people are going to be at the Saturday show as opposed to Monday.

I've stayed away from the thread because I feel like I want to ration my excitement. It's hard to stay pumped up all summer until September for a show you got tickets to back in March.

I have naive faith that this show is going to be particularly good. When my daughter was born in March, I heard a block of Buffett along with the concert announcement as we got in the car and drove home from the hospital. Then the tickets went on sale on my birthday. Nothing else particularly interesting or special beyond that. But, I'm hoping there's some kind of sign in there.

I'm still praying to hear Nautical Wheelers. I'm so disappointed that he pulled it out a couple shows ago. I feel like that killed my chances of hearing it.
