Alpine Valley Tailgating/parking lot entry

Can anyone please tell me when you can actually enter the parking lot at Alpine Valley? The past few years we went to Tinley Park and even though the venue site says they open parking at 4:00 - we would arrive much earlier than that and get on with the tailgating party.

This year we are going to Alpine for the first time and would like to be as prepared as we can possibly be. How early can we get in and get parked to set up our party??

Alpine is a great venue. Last year we got there about noon and we got right in and will be doing the same this year. It completely blows away Chicago for all of us Midwestern PH's.

I work part-time at Alpine doing EMS. Lot's in the past few years have been advertized to open at noon. I can tell you the county sheriff usually tells the venue to open the gates at 11 because of the lines of cars forming on the road outside the venue. Let the party begin, have fun but make my life a little easier, don't be stupid! See you in July
