South Park Buffett Parody

The guys from South Park had a new episode last night featuring a parody of Jimmy Buffett. It will be rebroadcast tomorrow and over the weekend on Comedy Central. Eric has AIDS and they couldn't get Elton John or anyone to sing so they got Buffett instead. Eric wasn't so happy.

I saw that last night while getting ready for bed, it caught me by surprise, pretty funny though.

My 14 yo son called me into the family room, yelling "Mom! Jimmy Buffett!" I ran in, stopped short in front of the TV to see the South Park parody (why my son was watching "South Park" is another issue to deal with........)

I love South Park, but I was dissapointed to see how they portrayed Jimmy... but it could have been a lot worse knowing the show. The do attack everyone and everything, so I guess it's really a badge on honor.

google episode 1201 south park. You will get the full episode, but it is at the 6 minute to 7 minute mark............very funny

Funny that I'm not South Park fan, but was just channel surfing past as the JB reference was mentioned......pure luck. The "cartoon Jimmy" was quite an accurate depiction of our "leader"! :pirate:

I think it is funny how they portrayed Josh Leo backing Buffett up on guitar. That has to be him, huh?
Sunset Beach is my Margaritaville. Where there is endless beach, no time, and sunshine that seems to last forever. I know that Someday I Will.....Someday.

At the end of the episode too when Buffett goes back to singing "Cheeseburger in Paradise"

CHEESEBURGER IN PARADISE..............NOW I'VE SAID IT TWIIIIIIIIIICE!"

It IS a badge of honor. NO ONE is spared on South Park.

I'm in my 30's and I still like that show. Guilty pleasures for all.

I could not agree more... I have lost touch with show over the years, but it's good to see that it's still got an edge!!! Badge of Honor all the way!!!
