So, which is better to try for Pittsburgh lawn tix, LiveNation or TM? Getting nervous about tomorrow.

It probably won't matter because LiveNation usually brings you to Ticketmaster. :-?

Livenation is just the promoter of the show, Ticketmaster is the seller of the tickets. :)

I suspected that it would send you to TM, but on another forum, they were posting that tix for Alpine & Indy sold out on TM but were still available for Pav on LN.

The answer is "it depends" .. in a Live Nation owned facility like Alpine, Live Nation sells some number of tickets at normal prices, competing with Ticket Master.

Other places, Live Nation is the promoter, but tickets are sold through Ticket Master.

Many venues have specific ticketing deals, usually with Ticket Master, so you can't sell tickets through any other vendor.

Oh, that explains why my Alpine tickets are NOT on Ticketmaster
