Parents of KW SPRING BREAKERS be proud

Post by Quint »

Normally, when it comes to a post from a Key Wester regarding a festival or group of people in town it is filled with nastiness...and sometimes , while uncalled for, it may be deserved.

However-- With all the negativity in the world I want to add some positive.

If you are a parent of a KW spring breaker then you should be proud. The kids this year ( with exception of one isolated incident ) have been great. They have been well behaved. As well behaved as spring breakers can be. I mean what is spring break with out a little T and A in the streets? They have been excellent tippers. A lot better then most groups we have seen in the past 24 months. They have been nice and respectful of locals. Granted they are obnoxious on the scooters. But then again so me a tourist that is not a complete moron on a scooter and I will show you a happy local ! HAHA.

They have been spending alot of money. --- you will find that out next month when you get your credit card bill though. While loud and full of vigor they have been loud and full of vigor with respect for the island.

So again, I say parents of Key West spring breakers --- be proud.

Now I am sure you all curious about the one isolated incident. Be forewarned this is really nasty.

One night after a tour I was standing out in front of Capt Tony's talking to the G.M. We looked over to the intersection of Greene and Duval. A girl crossing green street stopped halfway though the intersection , lifted the back of her skirt, did a half squat, and dropped a load. Then continued to walk about her night as normal. Yes she took a crap in the middle of the cross walk. It is not even her shameless self I feel sorry for. I feel sorry for the next batch of people to walk through the intersection not knowing what they were walking on. Imagine this conversation in the next bar ---

guy walks into bar, sit on a stool. After a minute leans to his friend and says " dude -- someone around here smells like S**T " not knowing of course that it is his own shoe.

Of course lets not even think about the poor sap that hooked up with this young lady later in the night and was wondering why her ass cheeks were glued together.

One final thought on Spring Break KW 2008. I believe this is the year I realized I must be getting older. Normally this would be a time of year I should really be looking forward to. Newly single and lots of horny drunk chics as far as the eye can see all looking for a local. One problem --- all of these girls down here look 16 to me. That must be a sign of aging on my part.

oh well, take care and rest easy knowing that your kids are having fun, staying out of jail, respecting your particular harbor, tipping well, and safe from my old ass.

Take care~

Hi,

What ghost tour do you work for? I am heading down to Key West again (I have been many times) in Mid May and I have never taken a ghost tour. I think that I might try one this time.

Thanks

Hmmm...sounds to me as though he *stepped* in the stool, not sat in it...

Seriously...yeah, that's pretty rude. It's possible to have a pretty good time down on Duval without resorting to crap like that. (pun intended, but I mean it seriously)

Some people really need the T-shirt that says, "Instant a**hole - Just Add Alcohol"
