Our puppy needs a Buffett related name!

Post by csr320 »

My husband and I are adopting a puppy this week at the local shelter...

We are struggling for a name...and I'd love to name give her a Buffett related name---but something that true PHs like us could appreciate without it being cheesy (haha, as in paradise)...My creative juices are apparently running dry this week.

Just FYI, our other pets have location related names: Boone, Rocky, Maui...

Any suggestions?

The puppy we are hoping to get is a german shepherd/boxer mix. Here she is

We named our German Shepherd "Desdemona."

A few other feminine Buffett-related names I like are:
Delaney
Savannah
Carmen
Lola
Marie (from "Whose the Blonde Stranger")
Isabella
Salome

Let us know what you decide on, okay?

Actually Desdemona was top of our list...along with Cruz, as in Cruz Bay in St. John....but that's just tropical, not Buffett :-D

Some of these I though of, and some I hadn't...these are great, keep 'em coming!

I like Mango, too!

Not really "Buffett" except indirectly, but how about "Kai", the Hawaiian word for "ocean"....

I don't know why i can't get the pic to work :x

but the next female dog is going to be CHIQUITA

Checking out the :pirate: chiquitas :wench: down by the shore
They dream about weight loss

My wife took my rotty/chow to the vet yesterday and he weighed in at 180 pounds. He's a big boy. His name is Rocco.

We also have a Frankie and Lola.

Maybe you should consider the books instead of the songs for your inspiration.

I've always thought a good dog name would be Nordstrom (from Lage Nom Ai).
