Tickets Still Available for the Houston Area Show

Post by phjim »

The Houston Chronicle has an article on ticket sales for the Houston area show: "Two popular concerts, only one sellout"

Last Saturday morning, tickets went on sale for two upcoming concerts at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

1. Buzzfest, the annual showcase of modern rock acts sponsored by radio station KTBZ "The Buzz." This year's lineup features Three Doors Down, My Chemical Romance, Seether and Puddle of Mudd.

2. Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, one of the biggest concert draws in Houston history. Last year, Buffett packed 40,000 fans into Minute Maid Park.

One of these shows sold out in less than two hours. The other has hundreds of good seats available.

Buzzfest "went clean," as they say in the concert business, in less than two hours. Buffett, who usually sells out in a flash in Houston, still has tickets in the box office drawer.

It's surprising that Buzzfest sold out, while Buffett didn't. But not that surprising. ... And don't worry, the Buffett concert will be a sellout by the time he takes the stage April 21.

You can purchase tickets for the April 21, 2008 show at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion - Woodlands, TX - via TicketMaster

There are still seats available for the Pittsburgh show also. However I still refuse to pay $136.00 for a ticket. I have seen Jimmy twice already, so it's no big deal for me.
I'm back to livin' Floridays
