I need some data on that. Anyone know about that or Lord Kitchener for that matter?

I've only been exposed to the Mighty Sparrow & "the Lords" (there is another whose name escapes me) since listening to RM. I believe they all come from the island of Trinidad. Carson Cooper seems to play a lot of their music on his morning show. Unfortunately, Carson also seems to play the same songs from these performers over and over again. Although I have a pretty wide range of musical interest, their styles, while unique, are just not my cup of tea.......
Not quite sure that JB's music was directly influenced by these artists, but he does like to make people aware of performers from the Caribbean where he spent so much of his "misspent youth"!

The true Mighty Sparrow is very different from the Mighty Sparrow you hear on RM. I am a big Sparrow fan and have been to some of his shows. I don't see any Sparrow influence in Jimmy's music.
YEEP.

I don't hear much of a Mighty Sparrow influence either. Which other Mighty Sparrow is there?
I only know of one. Born in 1935 and the Calypso King of the World.
Or are you talking about the Mighty Bomber? Of which there are two.

I'm speaking of the same Mighty Sparrow. It's just the sparrow you hear on RM isn't a good representation of the MS.
Ahh
