Just a thought, but how many people would be interested in chartering a cruise? They have 2&3 hour cruises for up to 150 people, cash bar or all inclusive liquer bars, DJ or live music. Check out the web site and see what you think.

We did something like this in Tampa last November, we did have a BN'er with connections, but it was a wonderful night of meeting and partying with BN'ers. In lieu of a parking lot, this could be an alternative for us all to be together "tailgating"!
That's a great idea. You're in charge... :D Maybe we can get some guy named Frinzi to play for us. Christine, what do you think?
That sounds like a GREAT idea!!! Let the stalking begin again. :o

I got a response on my MTP page from John that says he would love to do AC again, let's see what we can work out.

Christine, woo hoo :D :D :D

The cruise thing would be fun too! We could hire John ourselves instead of waiting to here if the Trump marina is going to ask him to play!

I'd be up for the cruise, if the weather goes bad what would the back up plan be and could you get your $ back?

According to the web site, the upper deck can be completely enclosed and the lower deck is enclosed. I don't see rain as a problem, however high winds and storm surges could be. That will be asked before we book the cruise. Let's see what kind of interest we have. I've emailed the company for a price list. We'll see

As a back up. . . Back Bay???

Sounds like a plan, we were at the beach bar last time and the wife didn't like it all that much, she's more into the parking lot scene. What would the chances be of stalker...I mean Flipflop girl being able to coax Frinzi abord the boat too? Everyone has their price, i wonder what his is? How cool would it be to have a floating concert. :pirate:

bake him some cookies or something. Maybe I'll have my mom knit him a quilt. Musicians love quilts.

A possible cruise with John Frinzi playing music before JB, if we can get enough people together that would be a great time.

Since I vowed to stop lurking on the Philly Pre-Concert gathering discussion, I figured I would drop a line here, also.

Hello everyone, my name is Jess, and I am a recovering lurker.

Anyway, my husband and I and another couple are going to the show. We may be interested in the boat thing. I would have to talk to the other couple, though.

Would love to do a boat cruise but hubby don't do ships, boats, canoes, kayaks, rafts, etc. [smilie=puker.gif] It looks like we would have to wait for all you pirates to dock on dry land.
