The amount that you are going to spend on gas, why don't you look into to flying into phill on friday or sat. morning and catching aride with someone?

I have a two day golf outing I booked Friday - Saturday, I need to be at work

between gas and tolls, it all balances out to be the same and with flights constantly being cancelled, I would not want to risk it...I will check it, though doubt i can get a cheap flight PIT to Philly, could be a last minute.

Hello everyone, my name is Jess, and I am a recovering lurker.

Anyway, my husband and I and another couple are going to the show. We may be interested in the boat thing. I would have to talk to the other couple, though.
Welcome Jess to the AC thread and the Philly thread. Looking forward to meeting you :D

Actually try the AC airport instead of Philly.....Never know when you'll come across some good fares!

I could be wrong but I don't think you can fly from Pitt to AC.

Got this in my email:

Ahoy Deb!

What time are you looking for? I know that Buffett is playing that night in AC. I have two options available that day: Noon to three, flat rate sell out of $2000 plus bar OR, 6-8 pm, $1000 plus bar. I do not have the late afternoon/ early evening avail, I already have a private party from 3:30-5:30.
Let me know if either of these times work for you and we'll discuss bar options, cash or open.
Thanks.
Jeff

Well , whacha think? I think if we do this it would have to be the early sail, the 6-8 is way too late. Could everyone be in town that early? We could do cash bar and about $40 bucks a head. Or should I discuss open bar? I think the rate for that was something like $30 a head + the cost of the sail. It's up to you all!!!
