I have a couple of questions which might seem dumb, but with all of the mis-information in the numerous other posts about this show, I figured I'd ask to see if anyone knows the answers for sure. Please only post a repsonse if the information is 100% true:

Is the AC show on Aug 24th or Aug 31st?
Are tics on sale this coming Monday at 10 am?
Who is selling the tics (Ticketmaster, etc.)?
Is there a presale?

Thanks, B

And no one has had any info regarding a pre-sale.

I am new to Buffett News and a newer Bufett fan. I have been fighting for tickets for a few years now. There has got to be a better way. How can I get pre-sales? My two tickets to Philly this year cost $500 from stubhub. With a baby on the way that is rough. I have heard about pre-sales, but how can I get in on them? I live near Philly but would like to go to the AC event also. Any information for either Philly or AC pre-sales would be very much appreciated.

Welcome, tguellich! :)

Pre-sales for the shows are generally only for venues that have season ticket holders for various other sports or events..

I got 2 for Section 105 in AC. A very big splurge... but the excuse is that we're celebrating our 25th anniversary.

Still hoping for Jones Beach.... I'll sit on the roof for that one!

I just got 2 in 217.

It seems to be easier to get tickets now that you have to type in 2 words in the thing

I hear ya. I've pulled and released so many tickets this morning. I am just having a hard time thinking about $500 for 2 tickets. Wanted the $66 - $96 range but nothing it seems. I'm still pulling tickets but wondering if I should just look around day of show for a bargain.

Don't know if you're still deciding, but even if you pay twice face for the $66 seats, you're still way less.

Last year, we (a group of 8) all got tickets in pairs for $30/seat right outside of the venue. We weren't set on going - figured if they were too much $$, we'd just go gamble. I'd say it's worth the risk.

I scored two in section 116 -- $156.00 a Pop plus the BASTARD fees... It seemed as though the $66-90 seats did not exist eh? I do agree that with the two words it was easier to get tix-- prices could be a tad lower though.

3 in section 221. Was on the phone with my hubby - I had 3 in section 110 but we decided the 3 he had in the 221 section would be better for the keet.

I think we crashed the tickmaster site??? Played around for awhile after 10:30 or so to see if anything better popped up - now cannot get to the site at all (maybe it's my work network problem??). Can get through on the phone though - you can still get sections 4 through 6 on the floor but not worth the $$.
